HAMAS Protesters Gather Outside El Paso County Democratic Party Offices for Theatrical Stunt

A group of Colorado pro HAMAS terrorists gathered outside the El Paso County Democratic Party office on January 19th, staging a theatrical stunt.

The ‘protesters’ stacked bundles of cloth made to look like body bags outside the door, claiming that each bag represented 3,000 lives lost in Gaza. This disturbing act was organized by the Colorado Springs People’s Coalition (CSPC), a group that is unhappy with President Joe Biden’s handling of the situation in Palestine – a war that began with the October 7th early morning sneak attack on the civilian population of Israel.

Colorado Springs People’s Coalition (CSPC) list of demands posted on Facebook.

The CSPC’s statement, released on the same day as the protest, revealed their misguided intentions. They accused President Biden of prioritizing corporate interests over the lives of Palestinians, calling for a stronger stand from the Democratic Party at both local and national levels.

Their statement claimed, “It is unconscionable that Biden and his allies are willing to go to war to protect corporate interests instead of doing everything in their power to end the heinous assault against Palestine. The value of a human life will always be worth more than all the commercial ships in the world.”

El Paso County Democratic Party officials acknowledged the First Amendment rights of the protesters and affirmed their commitment to free speech and peaceful assembly, according to Fox21.

In their response, Party officials expressed deep concern and empathy for the Israel-Palestine situation while strongly supporting President Biden and his leadership.

Rob Rogers, the First Vice Chair of the El Paso County Democrats told the Fox affiliate, “Our commitment to democratic ideals is unwavering, and we continue to strive for policies that reflect the values of justice and peace both domestically and internationally.”

It is important to highlight the alarming nature of this protest. The use of body bags is deeply offensive to those who have lost their lives in conflicts around the world. Such sensationalism and theatrics do nothing to promote understanding or facilitate productive conversations about the complex issues at hand.

As critics have noted, resorting to theatrics and spreading misinformation only hinders progress and deepens divisions.
