John Fabbricatore Considering Run for CD-4 Special Election

By Rocky Mountain Voice Staff

AURORA, CO – In a statement released today, John Fabbricatore, a seasoned professional with decades of service in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), including during the Trump administration, announced that he’s considering a run for the upcoming special election in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District.

Expressing deep concern over what he perceives as a breakdown in immigration enforcement and disregard for the rule of law under the current administration, Fabbricatore emphasized the urgency of addressing the border crisis and its impact on national security and community safety.

“After the sudden opening in the 4th District, I’ve been humbled by the overwhelming support and encouragement from fellow Coloradans,” Fabbricatore stated. “My law enforcement background positions me as a vital voice needed in Congress to combat extremist policies and address the ongoing border crisis.”

Fabbricatore intends to reach out to members of the 4th District committee to seek their input on his potential candidacy for the special election. Recognizing grassroots conservatives as essential to the Republican Party, he aims to garner their support in the nomination process.

Fabbricatore underscored his commitment to running as the Republican candidate in the 6th District general election against Democratic incumbent Jason Crow. By simultaneously pursuing the special election in CD4 and the general election in CD6, Fabbricatore aims to ensure continuity in both races, allowing voters in both districts ample opportunity to choose their representatives.

“This strategic approach ensures that the primary race proceeds as planned, giving constituents in the 4th District a say in their representation for the current Congress,” Fabbricatore affirmed.
