Man convicted on DUI turns self in to Summit County jail to start sentence… while still drunk

A convicted DUI driver is in more trouble after deciding to drink before driving himself to the county jail to start his sentence.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office says the 54-year-old was very obviously intoxicated when he showed up at the detention center last week.

He was also past the date he had been ordered to show up.
