Jeff Crank, the Republican nominee in Colorado’s 5th District in the U.S. House, has received the coveted endorsement of former President Donald J. Trump.

“Jeff is a Conservative Warrior who has incredible support from his community,” Trump began the endorsement on Truth Social.

Opposing Crank in the general election is Democrat River Gassen. The winner of the race will follow Rep. Doug Lamborn, who is retiring from office.

The Trump endorsement in the 5th District was earned in the Republican primary by GOP Chairman Dave Williams. Crank defeated Williams to earn the Republican nomination.

Crank has taken to Twitter/X in support of Trump.

“Tonight highlighted the clear distinctions between President Trump and Vice President Harris,” he wrote following the first and likely only Presidential debate. “Under President Trump we’ll have a strong border and a stronger economy, under Harris we’ll have more of the same failed liberal policies.”

In the endorsement of Crank, Trump said Crank, if elected, would “grow the Economy, secure our borders, stop migrant crime, support our incredible military/vets, champion American energy independence, and defend our always under siege 2nd Amendment.”

Trump also noted Crank had been supported by, among others, U.S. Reps. Jim Banks and Ronny Jackson.

“Jeff Crank has my Complete and Total Endorsement – HE WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!,” the endorsement concludes.

Crank responded to Trump’s endorsement, “So pleased and honored to have the strong endorsement of President Trump. I am so honored to get to work with him to save America, fix our broken Biden/Harris economy and secure our border!”
