If you slept in Friday, you may have reason for anxiety.

Hundreds, no, thousands of Coloradans made sure they didn’t, as early risers got priority in attempts to secure the best seats, or even get a seat, at the soldout Make America Great Again rally of former President Donald J. Trump at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center, 6700 N. Gaylord Rockies Blvd., in Aurora.

An estimated crowd of about 13,000 will be admitted to the rally at 10 a.m. There were 29,000 registered, a source told the Rocky Mountain Voice.

Trump will deliver the keynote speech at the rally, scheduled for 1 p.m. Those who gathered at 5 a.m. or earlier Friday morning and make it in to the Gaylord are likely to hear from other speakers in advance of Trump, including confirmed speaker Aurora City Councilwoman Danielle Jurinsky. The lineup could also potentially include unconfirmed speakers U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, and candidates for the U.S. House: John Fabbricatore in the 6th District and Gabe Evans in the 8th District, among others. Additionally, U.S. Rep. Greg Lopez has said he will attend, but has not said whether he will speak at the rally. The Trump-Vance campaign has not released a list of speakers, as it often does for a MAGA rally.

Those who were unable to get a ticket or missed the rally for any reason can generally catch the rally in its entirety on Real America’s Voice, available in a streaming app or on some cable and streaming services. Trump’s speech in MAGA rallies is traditionally carried in its entirety by Newsmax.

In Aurora, Trump is expected to discuss Tren de Aragua gang activity, likely a broader discussion of the effect of drugs and illegal aliens on a community when the country’s border is insecure.

“Tren de Aragua gang members infiltrated multiple apartment complexes in Aurora. Aurora police have linked at least 10 individuals to the Tren de Aragua gang, with eight of them already arrested for crimes ranging from shootings to assaults,” the Trump-Vance campaign wrote in a release announcing the Aurora event. “These violent criminals are destroying the safety and security of Aurora’s apartment complexes, and yet, the Harris-Biden administration continues to allow illegal immigrants to cross the borders unchecked.”

Trump will then be off on a quick trip to Reno, Nev., where he will appear at the Grand Sierra Resort at 6:30 p.m. (Mountain).
