On a bright, brisk Saturday morning, Paul Andrews carefully placed his cowboy hat upon his head, walking out into the stock yards at the National Western Stock Show on opening morning.
For over an hour, the leader of the show pulled a utility vehicle through the yards, passing out donuts, coffee and handshakes to the contestants setting up shop in bundled outfits.
“This is my last one,” Andrews said to one participant with a smile.
