Jeff Crank, the Republican nominee for Colorado’s 5th District seat in Congress, has called for President Joe Biden to resign or be removed from office.
“Despite an all-out effort to hide Joe Biden’s failing health, Democrats turned on him when they saw they could lose power,” Crank wrote Sunday on Twitter/X following Biden’s announcement he would suspend his campaign for re-election, but finish out his first term in office.
Mr. Biden has endorsed Kamala Harris for the Democratic Party’s nomination, although some key and powerful players in the party have not.
“The President admits he can’t run for re-election, but somehow thinks he can run the government,” Crank wrote on Twitter/X. “The President must resign immediately, or the cabinet must invoke the 25th Amendment for the sake of our country. I look forward to working with Donald Trump to defeat Kamala Harris.”
