The heartbroken family of slain Israeli-American hostage Hersh Goldberg-Polin paid tribute to their bright, “beautiful” son and brother at his packed funeral service in Jerusalem.
“Hersh, we all failed you. You would not have failed you. You would have pushed harder to justice,” Jon Polin addressed the late 23-year-old during his address at the Givat Shaul cemetery.
Polin evoked his son’s spirit with a Torah verse that called on one to find a close teacher and counselor, and to give all people the benefit of the doubt.
