‘Most corrupt and partisan President our nation has ever seen’

The question 4th District U.S. Rep. Ken Buck, R-Windsor, once popularly asked was “Where’s Hunter?” Now, the nation and his successor, U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Windsor, want to know “Why Hunter?”

The troubled son of the President, Hunter Biden was given a pardon by Joe Biden on Sunday, an erasure of his litany of criminal wrongdoings. It was not accompanied by pardons for Jan. 6 protesters, Julian Assange or even for Donald J. Trump — just for his son, Hunter.

“Joe Biden is the most corrupt and partisan President our nation has ever seen,” Boebert started a Twitter/X post on Tuesday.

A pardon which absolves Hunter of any criminal dilemma of the past 10 years — a time in which he notably abandoned a laptop with information allegedly linking him to foreign influence pedaling and a time in which he unlawfully acquired a handgun and evaded taxes — “proved he [Joe Biden] doesn’t even care about hiding it anymore,” Boebert wrote.

In the lame duck period of Biden’s presidency, many theorize the pardon has tarnished what legacy he might have had. Others further theorize he might pardon his brother, Jim, and himself before he leaves office. U.S. Rep. Jim Comer, who led investigations into what he termed “Biden, Inc.”, has told Fox News that Joe Biden, who he calls ‘The Big Guy’, may have to expand pardons further within the family.

“So happy this era is coming to an end and we can actually work on restoring our nation for the people rather than the ‘elite’ class who think they are in charge!,” Boebert wrote on Twitter.
