Garbo: If true, it’s the greatest violation of American sovereignty in modern history

By C. J. Garbo | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice

According to new reports, the FBI has obtained intelligence confirming that China has produced and distributed fake U.S. driver’s licenses to facilitate fraudulent mail-in ballot voting. Let that sink in.

If true, this is not just foreign interference in our elections; it is a coordinated attack on American sovereignty. And the gravity of such a revelation cannot be overstated. This would represent not only a betrayal by a foreign adversary but a failure, or worse, a complicity within our own institutions.

What’s worse is the possibility that this operation didn’t occur in a vacuum. It may have been aided, ignored, or tolerated by political actors here at home. If so, we’re not just looking at corruption. We’re looking at treason.

This Is Not a Conspiracy – It’s a Catastrophe

The Left has spent the last decade accusing their political opponents – endlessly and without proof – of foreign collusion. We remember the media circus. Russiagate. The Steele dossier. Years of baseless investigations, televised hearings, and breathless accusations against a sitting President. And yet, none of their claims bore fruit.

But now, when evidence emerges of actual foreign interference, the silence is deafening. Why?

Because if this story is accurate, it would mean everything they accused the Right of doing, they were doing themselves, but worse. While they were crying “Russia,” it was China they were quietly empowering. While they screamed about “election integrity,” they were laying the groundwork for one of the most egregious abuses of our democratic system in modern history.

And the pattern is clear.

Every time the Left hurls an accusation at the Right – racism, fascism, election interference, foreign collusion – it serves two purposes: to distract and to deflect. What if it’s not just projection, but a deliberate strategy? What if Russiagate wasn’t just noise, but cover?

If this is what was happening behind the scenes while Americans were being gaslit, censored, and labeled extremists for questioning mail-in ballots or foreign influence, then the scope of the lie is breathtaking.

National Integrity Demands Action

If China manufactured and distributed fake U.S. driver’s licenses for the purpose of manipulating mail-in ballot systems – and if our intelligence agencies knew or suspected this – this is an act of war against our constitutional republic. It demands more than outrage. It demands full accountability.

This is not a time for partisanship. This is a time for patriotism.

Every elected official – Left or Right – should be calling for:

  • A full federal investigation, publicly led, with real oversight.
  • Immediate subpoenas for every agency and official with knowledge or involvement.
  • Public trials with total transparency.
  • Arrests and prosecutions for anyone found complicit, foreign or domestic.
  • A permanent review and overhaul of mail-in ballot security and identity verification systems.

We cannot allow foreign regimes to manipulate the outcome of U.S. elections. And we cannot allow political actors within our own borders to dismiss, deny, or downplay the gravity of what this represents.

This Is About Trust – and Survival

The American people are owed more than vague assurances. They’re owed the truth. They’re owed accountability. And they’re owed justice.

Because if this happened – if China infiltrated our election systems using counterfeit identities, and if anyone on the inside allowed it – we are staring down not just scandal, but the unraveling of our democratic legitimacy.

This is how republics fall. Not by force from without, but by rot from within – covered in the language of compassion, wrapped in media spin, and propped up by cowardice or collusion.

Final Word

If this is true, it is not a political story – it is a national emergency. And if those who accuse others of sedition are the ones perpetrating it, the American people must not be confused.

We must be clear.

We must be firm.

And we must never allow this to happen again.

Investigate everything. Indict where appropriate. Try in full daylight. Let the chips fall where they must.

Because no election – and no republic – can survive lies this deep.

The era of denial is over. The era of reckoning must begin.
