GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) – A months-long discussion on what the fate of Fourth and Fifth Street in downtown Grand Junction will has reached a breaking point.
After nearly two hours of public comment at Wednesday night’s Grand Junction city council meeting, a motion was made, and ultimately passed to revert the Fourth and Fifth Street pilot projects back to the way they were before the pilot project began.
But one main goal with the new roads? To make it safer.
And newly elected Grand Junction Mayor Cody Kennedy says that the city does not have a timeline for when it could be done yet.
