Energy ‘equity’ exposed: Taxpayer subsidies for wind and solar—oil and gas get zero

Time to cut the umbilical cord and let the free market determine where we get our energy.

According to the Energy Information Administration, per unit of energy produced, oil and gas get zero subsidies (they are net taxpayers), nuclear gets less than $1, wind gets almost $6, and solar gets more than $40.

These numbers put the lie to the claim that oil and gas get taxpayer subsidies.

This study by EIA was done BEFORE the Biden Administration’s Green New Deal giveaways that added hundreds of billions more gifts to wind and solar and batteries.
