Incumbent Lauren Boebert (R) seeks another term while political newcomer Eileen Laubacher (D) vies for one of the state’s most Republican-leaning congressional seats

DENVER —In the midterm election on Nov. 3, voters in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District will decide who will represent them in Congress.

The district — a melting pot of agricultural communities, energy-producing areas and growing suburbs — is the reddest Republican territory in the state.

District 4 covers most of Colorado’s Eastern Plains and parts of Weld and Douglas Counties, and includes parts of Larimer, Adams, Arapahoe and El Paso counties, stretching from Loveland east to the state line.

Among the top candidates are Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert and Democratic challenger and political newcomer Eileen Laubacher.

Boebert has represented the district for two years, after she moved across the state following a near-loss in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District — where she first won a congressional seat in 2020. She has become one of Colorado’s most nationally recognizable Republicans, and her career has been marked by various controversies.
