Is Macy’s next in retail bloodbath? Beloved store sees sales slump amid 150 shops closing

By Alice Wright | Daily Mail Macy’s is facing a rough holiday season after revealing disappointing sales figures and slashing its profit outlook. The grim outlook provided by bosses this morning has sparked fears for the future of the much-loved retailer, which is already in the process of shutting a third of its stores. By  Haley Strack | National Review The New York Post had a great piece on Saturday counting the number of times that The View‘s hosts, during Friday’s broadcast, had to issue legal notes when discussing President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees. After discussing sexual assault allegations against onetime attorney general nominee Matt Gaetz (who dropped out of the running last week) and defense secretary nominee Pete Hegseth, show producers made host and former prosecutor Sunny Hostin read aloud legal notes. “I have a legal note,” she said. “Matt Gaetz has long denied all allegations and has not been charged with any crime.” READ THE FULL STORY AT NATIONAL REVIEW

Rabbi Confirmed Murdered in UAE; Netanyahu: ‘Antisemitic Terrorism’

Pollak | Breitbart Rabbi Tzvi Kogan, the assistant rabbi to the growing Jewish community in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates, was confirmed dead Sunday morning, apparently murdered by three Iranian agents from Uzbekistan who fled to Turkey. The Chabad organization confirmed his death and asked people to do a good deed — a “mitzvah” — in his memory. Rabbi Kogan had been missing since Thursday. Israeli officials contacted his relatives on Friday.
