Federal gun charges filed against suspect in 2nd assassination attempt on Trump

By Dan McCaleb | The Center Square Federal authorities in Florida on Monday filed two gun charges against the suspect in what the FBI is calling an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, the second in two months. Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was charged with possession of a firearm as a felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number. Additional charges are expected. Law enforcement officials allege Routh was armed with a semiautomatic rifle and scope just outside Trump's West Palm Beech golf club while the former president was playing the course. Pollak | Breitbart Police in Ann Arbor, Michigan, said Sunday night that they are investigating a reported beating of a Jewish student by a group of males in the early hours of Sunday morning, and that they are considering it a potential crime of “bias.” Reports began circulating on Sunday that a 19-year-old Jewish male had been assaulted by a group that became aware that he was Jewish. After asking him to confirm that he was Jewish, the group apparently beat the student. According to reports on social media, the student sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. Clark, is made up of three wings. Built in the 1960s, the "A-wing" and "C-wing" have been connected by the "B-wing" bridge of offices for decades. Aside from minor updates, the facilities have largely remained the same since initial construction. But, that's now changing for two-thirds of the facility.  Clark A will undergo a major renovation after the demolition and replacement of Clark B is completed. The shooting happened on the afternoon of Sept. 7 along U.S. Highway 36 near Federal Boulevard in Adams County. On Monday CSP will share the body camera and narrate the timeline of events that took place. CSP said Cpl. Tye Simcox was parked on the side of the road in his patrol pickup truck doing paperwork. That’s when the suspect drove past Simcox, heading eastbound in a black pickup, and opened fire from a semi-automatic handheld gun, CSP Chief Col.
