JonBenét Ramsey was murdered in 1996 and the case got heavy media attention for years. The cold case continues to be of high interest to people who are fascinated by all the mysterious details. Ramsey's parents first reported that their daughter was missing on the day after Christmas. She was later found strangled to death in their Boulder home. In the weeks and months afterward, the parents were considered by police as potential suspects along with Ramsey's 9-year-old brother. It created new regulations and penalties for using  artificial intelligence and deepfake-generated content in  communications about candidates for elected office. The law requires anyone using AI to create election communications featuring images, videos or audio of candidates to include a disclaimer explaining the content isn’t real. Candidates who have their appearance, actions or speech depicted in a deepfake can pursue legal prohibition of the distribution, dissemination, publication, broadcast, transmission or other display of the communication. Earlier this year, someone bought a Powerball Double Play ticket at the King Soopers at 8031 Wadsworth Blvd. in Arvada for the drawing on March 23. The ticket was worth $500,000, but almost six months later, no one has claimed it. Control of U.S. House likely to come down to 24 races, one of which is in Colorado

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice Control of the U.S. House of Representatives will most likely come down to an estimated 24 toss up seats in November, according to the Cook Political Report ratings. Only one of those seats is in Colorado: the battleground 8th District pitting incumbent Democrat Yadira Caraveo against Republican Gabe Evans. Last week, Evans collected the support of the Libertarian who was in the race, which could mean a 2-3% swing in the outcome. The race was rated "even" prior to the announcement by the Cook Political Report. If Evans can win the seat, it would provide Republicans with a "plus-one" in the U.S. House.
