By Julia Manchester | The Hill Winning for Women, a GOP group aimed at electing female candidates, rolled out an ad campaign on Monday highlighting GOP incumbents’ efforts to keep in vitro fertilization accessible. The ad campaign will run in the home districts of Reps. Lori Chaves-DeRemer (R-Oregon) and Michelle Steel (R-Calif.), who both face competitive races. Brambila | Denver Gazette Aurora officials heavily redacted public documents related to the eviction of 300 people at the Aspen Grove apartment complex last month, claiming the emails — to and from the city and the landlord’s lawyer — represented “attorney work product.” Under the Colorado Open Records Act or CORA, government agencies can assert certain privileges to withhold information. Examples include proprietary information, personnel issues, for a law enforcement investigation, or "work product," such as drafts. Will Trachman, general counsel for Mountain States Legal Foundation, doesn’t see how Aurora can claim a “work product” exemption on behalf of the landlord’s attorney. By  Pilar Arias | Fox Business About three months after Big Lots noted "substantial doubt about the Company's ability to continue" in a U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, the company said on Monday it has secured $707.5 million to support its operations and sell its business to private equity firm Nexus Capital. This comes as the company has initiated bankruptcy proceedings under Chapter 11. Big Lots listed its assets and liabilities in the range of $1 billion to $10 billion, according to a filing with bankruptcy court in Delaware, which showed creditors in the range of 5,001-10,000.
