‘Colossal win for women and girls’: Federal court strikes down Biden title IX rewrite

By Ashe Schow | Daily Wire The Biden administration’s attempt to rewrite Title IX to allow men in women’s sports, locker rooms, and bathrooms, has been struck down nationwide by a federal court. Twenty-six states sued to stop the regulations from going into effect, and the Supreme Court in August provided a temporary stay of the rules. But now a federal court has blocked the regulations from going into effect for all states – even those that didn’t sue to block the regulations. Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, one of the attorneys general who led the charge against the change to Title IX, called the latest ruling a “huge win.” READ THE FULL STORY AT THE DAILY WIRE

Trump rips Gavin Newsom over poor resource management during fires

By Ryan Saavedra | Daily Wire President-elect Donald Trump slammed California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom on Wednesday for his poor management of the state’s resources, saying he has contributed to the scale of the fires that have rapidly spread throughout Los Angeles County over the last 24 hours. “Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way,” Trump published on social media. “He wanted to protect an essentially worthless fish called a smelt, by giving it less water (it didn’t work!), but didn’t care about th...

An investigation conducted by Parents Defending Education (PDE) found that the Biden DOJ awarded over $100,113,942 through 102 grants, throughout 36 states, impacting 946 school districts and upwards of 3 million K-12 students. Those funds were spent on proposals promoting restorative justice practices, social and emotional learning practices, and diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in the classroom over the past four years, The Daily Wire has learned. The funds were awarded through the Justice Department’s STOP School Violence Program, w...

Documents reveal how George Soros controls prosecutors

By Luke Rosiak | Daily Wire As we prepare to enter the new year, we’re taking you back to some of The Daily Wire’s best reporting from 2024. This article was originally published on August 12.  George Soros and his son, Alex, have spent at least $117 million since 2016 to reshape America’s justice system. They’ve been successful: three in 10 Americans now live under a Soros prosecutor. But the Soroses’ influence doesn’t end on Election Day. After Soros-backed prosecutors take office, the family’s apparatus tells them what to do, documents show. The Media Research Center obtained nearly 8,000 pages of internal documents through public records laws that show how a Soros-funded group called Fair and Just Prosecution (FJP) “directed Soros prosecutors to manipulate th...

By Leif Le Mahieu | The Daily Wire FEMA Director Deanne Criswell confirmed that there were multiple ongoing federal investigations into instructions from a relief worker to skip homes with Trump signs, according to a letter to Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) first shared with The Daily Wire.  Criswell wrote to Blackburn on Tuesday confirming that Department of Homeland Security Inspector General Joseph Cuffari and the U.S. Office of Special Council were actively investigating FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington’s written and verbal commands for workers in Lake Placid, Florida to “avoid homes advertising Trump.” The guidance led to workers skipping at least 20 homes in the small community. Criswell referred to the instructions as “unacceptable” and a “...

By Spencer Lindquist | Daily Wire President-elect Donald Trump tore into the Biden Administration for selling off parts of the border wall following an exclusive Daily Wire investigation, charging that it is “almost a criminal act” and also that he intends to seek a restraining order. Trump made the statement after a Daily Wire investigation revealed that the Biden administration was selling off portions of the border wall in public auctions, with a goal of unloading the border wall before Trump takes office in January. One Republican Senator found that the administration was recouping just 0.2% of the original cost of the wall material to taxpayers. “The administration is trying to sell it for five cents on the dollar knowing that we’re getting ready to put it...

RFK, Jr., could do what Michelle Obama actually promised: Healthy lunches for low-income students

By  Dr. Naydeen González De Jesús | Daily Wire On February 9, 2010, Michelle Obama unveiled her ambitious initiative to combat childhood obesity through her “Let’s Move!” campaign, aiming to empower children and reduce obesity rates. The CDC reports that 1 in 5 children in the U.S. suffer from obesity which prompted President Obama to pass the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. This law aimed to promote healthier diets with mandated minimum servings of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while limiting sugar, fat, and sodium. However, the program fell short of its goals and inadvertently exacerbated the problems it sought to address. The focus of her campaign was not only to ensure that our nation’s children are being fed but also fed healthy food throug...

By  Luke Rosiak | The Daily Wire The FBI referred Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade for prosecution for making false statements related to a hate crime hoax intended to boost his candidacy, but the Department of Justice refused to pursue it for racial and political reasons, an FBI official told The Daily Wire. On Nov. 12 the Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado announced that three of Mobolade’s supporters had been charged with writing the n-word on one of his campaign signs, erecting a burning cross in front of it, and sending video of the spectacle to the news media to turn out the black vote for Mobolade, an African immigrant. Mobolade, a left-wing candidate, went on to defeat a white Republican in a closely fought election in the conservative-leaning cit...
