Trump has a plan for economic prosperity, Harris does not

By  Andy Puzder | Fox News As the November election approaches, the economy remains the most important issue for voters. On the question of which candidate voters believe would make the best economic policy decisions, President Trump holds a 10 percentage point advantage over Vice President Kamala Harris, according to the latest Pew Research survey. No one should be surprised.  Trump offers straightforward pro-growth economic policies consistent with the plan he successfully implemented during his first term in office, as most voters fondly recall.  He would keep tax rates low, encouraging investment and consumer spending, reduce growth-hobbling business regulation, and expand America’s domestic energy production, reducing the cost of literally everything. ...

Secret Service boss says vital info not relayed over radio, delaying response to would-be rally assassin

By Michael Ruiz and David Spunt | Fox News U.S. Secret Service (USSS) leaders are holding a 1 p.m. update on the agency's internal investigation following the July 13 assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Acting Director Ronald Rowe said the agency had confirmed "communication deficiencies" that slowed its response when the gunman climbed up on a rooftop just outside the secure perimeter. "For example, the Secret Service did not co-locate its security room with local law enforcement," he said. "There was an over-reliance on mobile devices, resulting in information being siloed." US ‘sleepwalking’ into WWIII, experts warn nation is underprepared

By Caitlin McFall  | Fox News The U.S. is "sleepwalking" into a global war against its top adversaries united under an axis of "malign partnerships," and experts are sounding the alarm that neither the U.S. military nor the public are prepared for World War III. In late July, a body of non-governmental national security experts, first tasked by Congress in 2022 under the Commission on the National Defense Strategy, released an evaluation of the U.S.’ overall security strategy put forward by the Biden administration two years ago. The commission found that after decades of post-Cold War policies that cut defense spending and reduced investments in the security sector, Washington, D.C., is "not prepared" to counter Beijing in open conflict, let alone a multi-fron...

DOJ’s new voter-roll guidance quietly issued; critic warns it may ‘intimidate’ election workers

By Jamie Joseph | Fox News The Department of Justice (DOJ) quietly published new guidelines addressing limits on when and how jurisdictions may remove voters from their voter rolls last week, a move to "intimidate" state and local election officials, says former DOJ attorney Gene Hamilton.  "This is what I perceive as an attempt by the Department of Justice and Civil Rights Division to intimidate state and local jurisdictions and state and local election officials from doing their jobs," Hamilton told Fox News Digital. The DOJ issued a new guidance document on Sept. 9 to remind states ahead of the election that "voting rolls must be accomplished in compliance with federal law and in a nondiscriminatory manner." Hezbollah pagers that exploded were made in Hungary, Taiwanese company says

By Stephen Sorace | Fox News Hundreds of pagers that exploded in Lebanon and Syria in an apparent operation targeting members of Hezbollah bore the brand of a Taiwanese company, though the firm’s chair told reporters Wednesday that another company in Budapest manufactured the devices. Near-simultaneous detonations of pagers used by members of the Iran-backed Hezbollah terror group killed at least 12 people, including two children, and wounded nearly 3,000 on Tuesday. Taiwanese pager firm Gold Apollo said in a statement that the firm had licensed its AR-924 brand of pager to BAC Consulting KFT, based in Hungary’s capital, and was not involved in the production. "According to the cooperation agreement, we authorize BAC to use our brand trademark for product sales in des...

Hillary Clinton says Trump poses ‘danger to our country and the world’ after assassination attempt

By David Rutz | Fox News The Federal Reserve on Tuesday begins a highly anticipated two-day meeting where policymakers are expected to cut interest rates for the first time in four years as stubborn inflation shows signs of continuing to ease. The Fed's policymaking arm, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), kicks off its meeting on Tuesday and will announce its decision regarding interest rates on Wednesday, when Fed Chair Jerome Powell will also shed light on the central bank's thinking at a press conference. After its last policy meeting in July, the Fed kept its benchmark federal funds rate steady at a 23-year-high range of 5.25% to 5.5% but opened the door to interest rate cuts if inflation continued to ease. Inflation data showed that price growth slo...

Trump blames Biden-Harris ‘rhetoric’ for latest assassination attempt

By Brooke Singman | Fox News Former President Trump said President Biden and Vice President Harris’ "rhetoric" is what is causing him to be "shot at," following the second assassination attempt against him since July, while telling Fox News Digital that the suspected gunman "acted" on "highly inflammatory language" of Democrats.   Trump spoke exclusively with Fox News Digital Monday morning, just a day after he was rushed off of the golf course at Trump International in West Palm Beach, Fla., after the Secret Service discovered a gunman in the bushes.  The suspected gunman, Ryan Wesley Routh, had an AK-47 style rifle pointing through the chain-link fence out toward the green; a go-pro camera; and two backpacks.
