Trump to tap new national security advisor in 6 months; calls Waltz move ‘upgrade’

By Greg Wehner | Fox News President Donald Trump said Sunday that he plans to appoint a new national security advisor in about six months, telling reporters the former advisor, Mike Waltz, did not resign, but was instead tapped for an upgraded position as the administration’s ambassador to the United Nations. Trump spoke with reporters on Air Force One on Sunday night, where he was asked about several topics, including the trade deals, Mexican cartels and the national security advisor position. One reporter asked the president about Waltz’s exit as the national security advisor, which the president said he was being selected for what he called a "higher position," or an "upgrade." Secretary Rubio: Alien Enemies Act exists to protect Americans, defend against Tren de Aragua and others

By Secretary of State Marco Rubio  | Fox News When the Founding Fathers drafted the Aliens Act of 1798, they intended it to act as an antibody against foreign armies, criminal networks, and individuals who sought to do America harm. They understood something we have forgotten. Every nation has not just a right to act in self-defense, but a duty to do so. When a nation neglects that duty, it risks becoming a haven for vile criminal elements from across the globe, and a battleground in other nation’s conflicts.  No nation is obligated to harbor foreign criminals from justice in their home nations, much less allow them to continue their crime spree right here in the United States. Until President Donald Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act, that was what the United States ...

Farage’s Reform UK beats out establishment parties in ‘earthquake’ elections

By Caitlin McFall  | Fox News The right-wing Reform UK Party saw a series of electoral wins early Friday after it secured parliamentary, mayoral and several local election seats in what leader Nigel Farage said is proof that Reform UK is "now the opposition party to this Labour government." Farage, who predicted earlier this year in an interview with Fox News Digital that there would be a "political revolution," said the centurylong, two-party system that has dominated British politics was "now dead" after both the liberal Labour Party and Conservative Party saw losses in a Thursday election.  Reform UK secured a fifth parliamentary seat after Sarah Pochin flipped the Runcorn & Helsby constituency, which is, according to Reform leaders, considered Labo...

Revenge porn bill backed by Melania Trump heads to president’s desk after overwhelming House vote

By  Danielle Wallace  | Fox News The House on Monday overwhelmingly passed a bill backed by first lady Melania Trump that cracks down on the posting of explicit images, including "deep fake" nudes generated of people by artificial intelligence, without consent.  The Tools to Address Known Exploitation by Immobilizing Technological Deepfakes on Websites and Networks – known as the TAKE IT DOWN Act – was approved by a 409-2 vote and now heads to President Donald Trump’s desk.  The measure "generally prohibits the nonconsensual online publication of intimate visual depictions of individuals, both authentic and computer-generated, and requires certain online platforms to promptly remove such depictions upon receiving notice of their existence," according ...

Trump signs executive order cracking down on ‘sanctuary’ cities, threatens their federal funding

By Diana Stancy , Michael Lee  | Fox News President Donald Trump signed an executive order Monday instructing the Justice Department and the Department of Homeland Security to create a list of all sanctuary cities failing to adhere to federal immigration laws, providing them a chance to abandon their sanctuary status.  The order comes as Trump seeks to speed up deportations, following through on a key promise he made on the campaign trail during his third bid for president. But so-called "sanctuary cities," or jurisdictions that limit the ability of local agencies to cooperate with federal immigration authorities, have restricted his ability to do so.  READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX NEWS

Judge blocks Trump election order despite overwhelming American support for voter ID

By Rachel Wolf , Alec Schemmel  | Fox News A federal judge in Washington, D.C., blocked a portion of President Donald Trump’s executive order on election integrity that is popular among Americans, according to a Gallup poll. The portion of the order that Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia struck down included provisions related to requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote. Less than two weeks before the 2024 election, Gallup found that 84% of U.S. adults were in favor of requiring voters to show identification and 83% supported requiring proof of citizenship when registering for the first time.  READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX NEWS

Montana governor urges gunmakers to ditch Colorado after new weapons ban

By Alec Schemmel | Fox News FIRST ON FOX: GOP Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte is launching a video campaign to remind gun manufacturers in Colorado that if they move just a few hundred miles to the north, they can be free of one of the nation's most restrictive gun control bills signed into law earlier this month in their state. "Do you want to move back to America?" Gianforte is asking Colorado gunmakers, after Democratic Gov. Jared Polis signed S.B. 25-003 into law earlier this month. The new law, which is slated to go into effect in August 2026, effectively bans the manufacture, sale or purchase of semi-automatic firearms that accept detachable magazines, which include most AR-15s and AK-47 rifles sold in the United States. Some tactical shotguns and a few select handguns wi...

Colorado’s ‘totalitarian’ transgenderism bill sparks concerns from parents

By Taylor Penley | Fox News Parental rights advocates are cautioning against a "totalitarian" transgenderism bill rammed through the Colorado state House that they say could jeopardize parents' chances in custody battles if they "misgender" or "deadname" their children. "This is giving the authority to our state to take our children away if we don't agree with these gender transitions, so it's got huge ramifications for all parents, especially those in custody situations who are fighting with their ex-spouses to stop their children from being medicalized," Erin Lee, a mom from the Centennial State, told "The Faulkner Focus" on Monday. She added, "It opens the door for all parents to potentially have their children forcibly removed by the state if they're not willing to affir...

Rubio overhauling ‘bloated’ State Department in sweeping reform

By Michael Dorgan  | Fox News The Trump administration has announced it is overhauling the State Department and shuttering more than 130 offices around the world in order to streamline operations and align the department more closely with the administration's foreign policy objectives. The move was announced on Tuesday by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who said region-specific functions will be consolidated to increase functionality and redundant offices will be shut down. Programs that are misaligned with America’s core national interests will be shuttered too, he said. Rubio said the State Department had become bloated, bureaucratic and unable to perform its essential diplomatic mission in a new era of great power competition.  READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX ...
