FEMA official fired for directing hurricane relief away from Trump supporters’ homes

By Michael Dorgan , Sarah Rumpf-Whitten  | Fox News A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) official who instructed Hurricane Milton relief workers to skip homes with Trump signs has been fired from her role, a FEMA spokesperson tells Fox News, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is investigating the federal agency over the controversy.  The FEMA official, who has not been named by the agency, instructed workers canvassing Lake Placid in Florida to "avoid homes advertising Trump," as they ascertained what residents could qualify for federal aid, according to internal messages first obtained by the Daily Wire.  The Daily Wire reports that government employees told the outlet that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags were bypassed from the end of Oct...

Donald Trump Picks Tom Homan to Oversee Border Security, Deportations

By Neil Munro | Breitbart Border hawk Thomas Homan is getting a prize border security job in the new administration, incoming President Donald Trump said in a message via his Truth Social media network. Homan is an experienced border officer who served as acting chief of the vital Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency in 2017 and 2018. The agency is responsible for finding, arresting, and deporting illegal migrants. Homan strongly supported Trump during the 2024 election. However, the statement did not say Homan would be nominated to run the Department of Homeland Security or the ICE agency. If nominated and confirmed by the Senate for either job, he would have the funding, personnel, and legal authority to deport many illegal migrants. READ THE FULL STORY AT BREITBART

Conway: My 3 a.m. phone call with Trump moments after his victory… and his plan for a new ‘golden era’ in America

By Kellyanne Conway | Commentary, Daily Mail As news broke of his historic electoral victory of undeniable proportions, Donald Trump fielded a flotilla of calls from family and friends – including me – in the wee hours of Wednesday morning. I told the President that he and his victory were a metaphor for America: we never surrender; we never back down; we fight, fight, fight. His circuitous journey back to 1600 Penn is the type of second chance few others have known. US stocks saw biggest inflow since June on day of Trump’s election win: Bank of America

By  Breck Dumas | Fox Business Investors poured $20 billion into U.S. equity funds on Wednesday after President-elect Donald Trump was declared the winner of the presidential election, according to Bank of America. The bank's strategists, led by Michael Hartnett, reported that it was the biggest daily stock inflow since June, and the $2.9 billion that flooded into financials was the highest on record. The note said the biggest picture is that "Trump won big, as US voters cared more about inflation, inequality…immigration than low unemployment," and the Republicans' "big sweep" equates to "big policies," with the potential for $8 trillion in tax cuts, $3 trillion in tariff revenues and $1 trillion in spending cuts. No, Trump’s too-big-to-rig victory doesn’t ‘lay to rest’ election integrity issues

By Logan Washburn | The Federalist Biden and corporate media want Americans to stop caring about election integrity. Advocates say there is still plenty of work to be done. After former President Donald Trump won the election in a landslide, President Joe Biden claimed election integrity is an issue of the past. Election integrity advocates beg to differ. “I hope we can lay to rest the question about the integrity of the American electorate system. It is honest, it is fair and it is transparent. And it can be trusted, win or lose,” Biden said on Nov. 7 according to The Hill.  READ THE FULL STORY AT THE FEDERALIST

Why Kamala Harris got so many fewer votes than Biden

By Fred Lucas | Daily Signal Social media posts after the presidential election were abuzz about the disparity in the vote tally from 2020 to 2024.  Preliminary counts show President-elect Donald Trump with almost as many votes as he got in 2020, when he came up short in his reelection effort against Joe Biden. Trump appears to have 73.3 million votes now; in 2020, he won 74.2 million.  But Vice President Kamala Harris appears to have won about 12 million fewer votes than Biden did against Trump in 2020. Biden won 81.2 million votes in 2020; Harris so far has 69 million votes.  READ THE FULL STORY AT THE DAILY SIGNAL

Feds disrupt Iranian assassination plot on Trump

By  Ryan Saavedra | Daily Wire Federal law enforcement officials foiled a second alleged Iranian plot to assassinate President-elect Donald Trump this week. The U.S. Department of Justice unsealed an indictment against multiple individuals who were involved in plots to murder an Iranian dissident, two Jewish Americans, and Trump on U.S. soil. “There are few actors in the world that pose as grave a threat to the national security of the United States as does Iran,” said Attorney General Merrick B. Garland. “The Justice Department has charged an asset of the Iranian regime who was tasked by the regime to direct a network of criminal associates to further Iran’s assassination plots against its targets, including President-elect Donald Trump.” READ THE FULL STORY AT THE D...

Judge Chutkan grants Jack Smith’s request to cancel further proceedings in January 6 case

By Andrew C. McCarthy | National Review Federal lawfare is indeed winding down, as we discussed earlier this week. Judge Tanya Chutkan, the Obama appointee who is presiding over the 2020 election interference case against President-elect Trump, issued a brief order on the docket today, vacating all proceedings scheduled in the case, including any briefing on pending issues. She ordered that on or before December 2, 2024, Biden-Harris DOJ special counsel Jack Smith must file “a status report indicating [the government’s] proposed course for this case going forward.” The course for the case is to dismiss it. Judge Chutkan’s order was a result of a brief application by Smith’s staff, unopposed (naturally) by Trump’s counsel, stating: READ THE FULL STORY AT NATIONAL REVIEW...

One agency is melting down over Trump’s win

By Matt Vespa | Townhall The Federal Bureau of Investigation is reportedly a place of mourning. Donald Trump won the 2024 election, capping off the greatest political comeback in American history. It’s over. Done. Trumpism is here to stay. The man has defeated the liberal media, the intelligence community, and the Justice Department, and they’re shell-shocked and stunned over this decisive win. Trump won 312 electoral votes and the popular vote. For the top brass at the J. Edgar Hoover Building, it’s likely the end of their tenure at the agency (via Washington Times):  " The brass on the seventh floor at FBI headquarters in Washington are walking around in a daze and wary of a housecleaning since President-elect Donald Trump won his reelection on Tuesday, according to inside sourc...
