By ISABELLA RAMÍREZ | Politico President Joe Biden admitted he “screwed up” and “made a mistake” at last week’s presidential debate, conceding that his performance was rocky in some of his first interviews since the meltdown. “I had a bad night,” Biden told Earl Ingram on WAUK, a radio station based in Waukesha, Wisconsin. “I didn’t have a good debate. That’s 90 minutes on stage. Look at what I’ve done in 3.5 years.” The president sat down for pre-recorded interviews with two radio stations — WAUK and WURD, the only African-American owned and operated talk radio station in Pennsylvania — as he attempts to calm the nerves of Democrats frantic about his ability to serve. By Chris Pandolfo  | Fox Business Americans are paying a record high cost to host their July 4th cookouts this year as inflation, like the weather, is still hot.  According to the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF), a traditional Independence Day barbecue for 10 will cost $71.22, up from $59.50 in 2021. Higher prices for burger meat, buns, cheese and favorite sides like chips all add up to a painful bill to light up that grill. "Nationally, this means we are surpassing $7 per person for the first time, with the total meal coming to $7.12 a person," said AFBF economists Bernt Nelson and Samantha Ayoub. John Deere will layoff more than 600 in production shift to Mexico

By Michael Dorgan  | Fox Business John Deere, the world’s largest seller of tractors and crop harvesters, on Friday announced another wave of layoffs, telling around 610 production staff at plants in Illinois and Iowa that they will be out of a job by the end of the summer.   The company is slashing around 280 workers from a plant in East Moline, Illinois, while another 230 employees are being let go at a factory in Davenport, Iowa. About 100 production employees at the company’s Dubuque, Iowa, plant will also be impacted. All layoffs are said to be effective from Aug. 30, the company tells FOX Business. The layoffs are being made due to reduced demand for John Deere's products from those factories. Justice Clarence Thomas indicated that his colleagues thought the cases weren’t yet ripe for the high court and needed more development before lower judges. By Taylor O'Bier | Denver 7 News A white bison calf, born in Yellowstone National Park at the start of June, has not been seen since, according to park officials. There haven’t been any confirmed sightings of the calf since June 4, when several visitors first took photographs of the newborn in the Lamar Valley area of the park. Park staff said they hadn’t been able to locate the calf, and it’s unclear if the calf is still alive.
