DHS reports 2 million illegal alien deportations from U.S. since January

By: John Binder | Breitbart The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that two million illegal aliens have either been deported or self-deported from the United States since President Donald Trump took office on January 20. According to DHS officials, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents are on pace to deport almost 600,000 illegal aliens by the end of Trump’s first year in his second term. Broken down more specifically, DHS officials say an estimated 1.6 million illegal aliens have self-deported from the U.S., while ICE agents have deported more than 400,000 illegal aliens. Altogether, DHS officials say two million illegal aliens have been deported in fewer than 250 days. “The numbers don’t lie: Two million illegal aliens have been removed or self-depo...

Texas ICE Attacker Had Roots in Liberal, Anti-Law Enforcement Family

By Matt Vespa | Townhall This will be another test to determine whether the legacy media’s power is truly waning. I think it is—they can no longer control narratives. The ones they trot out to distract us are easily dismissed as bunk. Still, we had another politically motivated attack in Texas yesterday, where Joshua Jahn, 29, opened fire on an ICE facility in Dallas, killing two detainees and injuring another before he committed suicide. No, he was not a right-winger. He was targeting federal vehicles. Jahn also had anti-ICE messaging on the ammunition. https://twitter.com/FoxNews/status/1970834192989827304 https://twitter.com/FBIDirectorKash/status/1970877754221498599 https://twitter.com/townhallcom/status/1970872533454111131 Now, his family roots have been revealed,...

DHS Boosts Security at ICE Sites After Deadly Dallas Attack

By Misty Severi | Just The News “For months, we’ve been warning politicians and the media to tone down their rhetoric about ICE law enforcement before someone was killed," Tricia McLaughlin said. "This shooting must serve as a wake-up call to the far-left that their rhetoric about ICE has consequences." The Department of Homeland Security announced Wednesday that it was "immediately"increasing security at its Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities following the attack hours earlier at a facility in Dallas. The alleged shooter, identified as 29-year-old Joshua Jahn, killed one detainee and injured two others before killing himself. Joe Rothrock, special agent in charge of the FBI Dallas field office, said during a press conference that Jahn wrote anti-ICE messages on the...

Gold Card residency rewards those investing in America, not exploiting it

By Brian C. Joondeph | Commentary, American Thinker President Donald Trump’s two recent executive orders, one imposing a $100,000 annual fee on H-1B visas and the other launching the “Gold Card” fast-track residency program, represent the most significant immigration reforms in decades.  Image by ChatGPT They flip the incentive structure that has for years favored multinational corporations and global outsourcing firms over American workers, while also tackling long-ignored national security risks. As a policy, open borders is one area where Democrats and many Republicans agree. Democrats want new voters, while the Chamber of Commerce and Wall Street Journal Republicans want cheap labor. President George W. Bush, backed by Senator John McCain, in 2007, pushed for “comp...

Prove him right: The American Idea is worth fighting for

By Melanie Sturm | Commentary, Think Again USA Substack Can we restore the American Idea — for our children and our humanity? When Talking Stops I’m glad I waited to watch Charlie Kirk’s memorial before finishing this post. For days I struggled to write — distracted by the “he-had-it-coming” justifications of his murder, and by the claim that finding common ground is no longer possible. But I refuse to accept that. This essay is my attempt to prove why — and to enlist you in restoring dialogue at a moment when America desperately needs it. They say grief comes in waves. This summer I lost two dear friends far too soon, and then came the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a 31-year-old husband and father of two. Though we were only acquaintances, the footage replaying on my f...

MSNBC’s attack on Tom Homan collapses under scrutiny

By Hans Mahncke | Commentary, The Federalist There is no evidence that Tom Homan agreed to anything improper, no evidence that he acted on behalf of anyone, and no evidence that he violated any law. After nearly a decade of hoaxes — from Russiagate to Ukraine, from impeachment sagas to the circus around Brett Kavanaugh — the American public has been conditioned to expect another “bombshell” headline every few months. Now, right on schedule, a new one has emerged. This time, the target is Tom Homan, former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and now the border security czar in the Trump administration. MSNBC’s Ken Dilanian and Carol Leonnig reported on Saturday that Homan had supposedly been ensnared in a sting operation run by the Biden-era Department ...

Growth Mindset Betrayed: How Schools Preach Effort but Reward Excuses

By Priscilla Rahn, M.Ed, NBCT | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice Policies like minimum F grades, lowered expectations, and racial affinity groups are undermining resilience, accountability, and true learning—while students watch the very lessons of growth mindset go unpracticed.  Growth mindset, at its core, is about teaching students that effort, persistence, and strategies—not fixed traits like race, background, or “innate intelligence”—lead to improvement and success. I have spent 32 years in education as a teacher and principal, and I believe deeply in this principle. But after decades of working in public schools—especially large city districts with high numbers of minority students—I have grown increasingly concerned: too often, the policies and practices we adopt ac...

Trump Calls Out UN Failures in Fiery Speech Against Globalism

By Just the News staff | Just the News Representatives from several nations met in New York ahead of the Tuesday event as part of a summit to reaffirm support for a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict. Nations supporting the idea have yet to explain how it would work. President Donald Trump’s Tuesday speech to the United Nations General Assembly saw him excoriate the international body as ineffective and forecast Washington putting more distance between itself and the UN. Trump accused the United Nations of leaving the job of peacekeeping to him, highlighting the many global conflicts that he resolved in the first seven months of his presidency. Among those, Trump managed to speedily resolve conflicts between India and Pakistan, Armenia and Azerbaijan, and Rwanda a...

Google Promises Free Speech After Years of Political Censorship on YouTube

By Sean Moran | Breitbart Google on Tuesday promised to restore YouTube accounts that have been banned for political speech, admitting that the Biden administration pressured it to censor Americans that did not violate the company’s terms of service, in a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH). “Reflecting the Company’s commitment to free expression, YouTube will provide an opportunity for all creators to rejoin the platform if the company terminated their channels for repeated violations of COVID-19 and elections integrity policies that are no longer in effect,” a lawyer representing Google wrote to Jordan. The letter would likely affect pro-Trump political commentators such as White House counterterrorism chief Sebastian Gorka, War Room host Steve Bannon,...
