Autopen Investigation Reveals Biden’s Slow Decision-Making in Final Months

By Kaelan Deese | The Gazette Former President Joe Biden’s ex-chief of staff Jeff Zients delivered the most revealing testimony to date in the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the alleged misuse of the autopen and internal efforts to conceal the then-president’s cognitive decline, according to a source familiar with the matter. Zients, who appeared for a closed-door transcribed interview on Thursday, confirmed for the first time that Biden’s “decision-making slowed” during the final stretch of his presidency. He said meetings that once required three sessions began to require a fourth, and acknowledged that Biden’s speech stumbles and memory lapses worsened with age — including during his time in office. The testimony, described by ...

Charlie Kirk’s assassination was a shot heard around the world—sparking revival

By Scott Shamblin | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice On April 19th, 1775 the opening shot of the battles of Lexington and Concord sparked the American Revolutionary War. Commonly referred to as the "Shot heard round the world," ultimately leading to the birth of the United States on July 4th, 1776, and the signing of the Declaration of Independence on August 2, 1776. The men who wrote the declaration knew that ultimately this would mean they'd be hunted by the tyrant, King George III. Yet they accepted this fact with extreme courage. This act of treason against the royal crown was for the sake of freedom. They wanted to be able to practice Christianity, without the King's control. The historian David McCullough during a speech in 2005 stated that "At the time of the Revol...

Stop Illegal Entry Act reaches Senate with 10–20 year sentences for criminal reentrants

By Shaina Cole | Contributing Writer, Rocky Mountain Voice The House voted 226–197 to pass the Stop Illegal Entry Act of 2025 (H.R. 3486). The bill updates 8 U.S.C. § 1325 and § 1326, the federal laws on illegal entry and reentry, and was received in the Senate on September 15, where it now awaits committee consideration. For first-time offenders, the penalty doesn’t change — up to six months in jail. But, anyone caught crossing again could face up to five years in prison and a fine. The bill also sets penalties for people who try to help others cross illegally. The biggest changes involve reentry after deportation. The baseline remains up to two years. But if someone has three or more misdemeanors involving drugs or crimes against others, or any felony, the maximum rises to 10...

Four House Republicans block effort to censure Ilhan Omar over Charlie Kirk comments

By Elizabeth Elkind | Fox News House lawmakers voted to table the resolution before they could weigh the measure itself The House of Representatives voted along bipartisan lines on Wednesday to table a resolution to censure Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., over comments about Charlie Kirk. Four House Republicans voted with Democrats to table the legislation, effectively blocking it from receiving its own House-wide vote. A vote to table is a procedural mechanism allowing House members to vote against consideration of a bill without having to vote on the bill itself. The measure was blocked in a narrow 214 to 213 vote. The four Republicans who voted to table the measure are Reps. Mike Flood, R-Neb., Tom McClintock, R-Calif., Jeff Hurd, R-Colo., and Cory Mills, R-Fla. McClintock...

Education funds drained by bureaucrats while kids fall behind

By Post Editorial Board | Commentary, New York Post If you think spending more money on America’s schools will lead to greater student achievement, guess again: A new analysis of 12,000-plus school districts shows just the opposite. Not only does more spending not correlate with better student performance, turns out it coincides with moderately worse performance. The public-policy watchdog Open the Books looked at payroll growth at 12,531 public-school districts from 2019 to 2023, and compared it to the percentage change in the district rankings on the National Assessment of Educational Progress exams, the gold standard for measuring reading and math proficiency of fourth and eighth graders. Guess what: The greater the payroll growth, the more...

Trump Labels Antifa A Major Terror Threat

By Scott McCallen | Townhall Pres. Donald Trump is designating Antifa as a major terrorist organization, he said on Truth Social on Wednesday night. "I am pleased to inform our many U.S.A. Patriots that I am designating ANTIFA, A SICK, DANGEROUS, RADICAL LEFT DISASTER, AS A MAJOR TERRORIST ORGANIZATION. I will also be strongly recommending that those funding ANTIFA be thoroughly investigated in accordance with the highest legal standards and practices. Thank you for your attention to this matter!" The White House confirmed the post. After Kirk's assassination, Trump said that he would find the groups that fund political violence, Townhall's Katie Pavlich posted. “My administration will find each and everyone of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other poli...

ABC Drops Jimmy Kimmel After Cruel Joke About Charlie Kirk

By Rob Bluey | Commentary, The Daily Signal Jimmy Kimmel is off the air. Good riddance. The vile and disgusting ABC late-night host used his Monday night monologue to make this comment about Charlie Kirk’s assassin (emphasis added): “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it.” Yes, you read that correctly. And to make matters worse, Kimmel then proceeded to play a video mocking President Donald Trump and suggesting that he wasn’t grieving over Kirk’s death. This is apparently the sad and pathetic state of late-night comedy in 2025. It’s no wonder Americans are turning off has-been comedi...
