Ex-Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries, partner arrested in twisted scheme to sexually exploit male models

By  Emily Crane, Georgett Roberts and Priscilla DeGregory | New York Post Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries, his male partner and a middleman preyed on and horrifically abused more than a dozen young aspiring male models as part of a twisted sex-trafficking and prostitution ring, federal prosecutors said Tuesday. Jeffries, 80, allegedly wielded his “power, wealth and his influence” to traffic scores of men for his own sexual pleasure for nearly a decade — often dangling the promise of modeling careers in their faces, according to the feds. The disgraced fashion boss — who infamously had shirtless young male lifeguards and models parading outside Abercrombie stores and events during his time at the helm of the company — worked the depraved trafficking ...

Ciarrocchi: How Kamala Harris is doing everything possible to lose pivotal Pennsylvania

By Guy Ciarrocchi, Commentary | New York Post Kamala Harris and Tim Walz have a Pennsylvania problem. Harris, her team and national Democrats finally know it. But does their knowledge come too late? And can they fix it? With his disastrous debate performance in June, President Biden showed the nation he’s old, floundering and not up to the job. Polls confirmed it. National Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama, along with Team Harris, sprang into action. Something had to be done. The “Democratic Politburo” decided — on behalf of 75 million Democratic voters — what the party’s best option was. Out with “Uncle Joe,” and in with the new and improved product: Kamala Harris. NY Times’ DEI wake-up is better late than never

By Post Editorial Board, Commentary | New York Times Despite prevailing public and political wisdom that removing homeless encampments is necessary to reduce crime in an area, a new national study looking specifically at Denver’s crime rates after sweeps found the narrative was, in fact, mostly false. “There is no evidence that sweeps make our community safer,” said Pranav Padmanabhan, the Denver-based lead author of the study published Wednesday in the national Journal of Urban Health. Padmanabhan is a graduate student in Public Health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and one of four authors affiliated with the medical school. The fifth is with the University of California-San Diego School of Medicine. READ THE FULL STORY AT THE NEW YORK POST Editor...

2024 presidential election live updates: Trump gives hilarious roast at Al Smith charity dinner

By Diana Glebova, Josh Christenson, Victor Nava, Steven Nelson and Kaydi Pelletier | New York Post Former President Donald Trump delivered hit after hit Thursday night at the annual Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation dinner in Manhattan, a historic Catholic fundraiser where, in an election year, the candidates traditionally take advantage of the opportunity to roast and mock each other. The “Met Gala for Catholics,” some have called it. Vice President Kamala Harris notably dodged the dinner, instead phoning it in with a pre-recorded video message we’ve confirmed she scrambled to pull together at the last minute. And it was only mildly funny, for a very specific set of millennial voters. READ THE FULL STORY AT THE NEW YORK POST

Morgan: Trump’s so right to say he’d ban trans athletes in women’s sports

By Piers Morgan, Commentary | New York Post Sometimes, Donald Trump hits the common-sense nail smack-bang on the head. After years of cowardly public officials pathetically tiptoeing around the increasingly farcical, and grotesquely unfair, issue of biologically male trans athletes competing in women’s sports, the former and quite possibly next president of the US spat out a potentially very consequential truth bomb. “You just ban it,” he said during a Fox News town hall on Wednesday, to huge cheers from the audience. “The president bans it. You just don’t let it happen.” READ THE FULL COMMENTARY AT THE NEW YORK POST Editor’s note: Opinions expressed in commentary pieces are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of the management ...

Kamala Harris urges black men to vote for her to legalize marijuana — despite convicting 1,900 as DA

By Steven Nelson | New York Post Vice President Kamala Harris urged black men to back her presidential candidacy Tuesday by pledging to legalize marijuana — despite overseeing more than 1,900 marijuana convictions as San Francisco district attorney between 2004 and 2011. Harris, 59, made the statement as she prepared for an afternoon interview with radio host Charlamagne tha God — on whose program she claimed in 2019 she had smoked marijuana in college, inviting allegations of hypocrisy over her prosecutorial record. “Kamala Harris will legalize recreational marijuana — breaking down unjust barriers that hold Black men and other Americans back and making sure Black Americans have opportunities to succeed as the marketplace takes shape,” she tweeted ahead of her...

Kamala Harris’ book publisher directing ‘very sensitive’ plagiarism questions to higher-ups

By Josh Christenson | New York Post The publisher of Vice President Kamala Harris’ 2009 book on criminal justice reform is redirecting “very sensitive” inquiries about apparently plagiarized passages to the highest levels, according to the conservative activist who revealed the copying. Manhattan Institute senior fellow Christopher Rufo — who first unveiled the plagiarism allegations on Monday — posted screenshots of leaked internal emails ordering publicity reps at Chronicle Books not to immediately respond to press inquiries about “Smart on Crime.” Chronicle executive director of marketing and publicity Lauren Hoffman asked for all inquiries to be forwarded to her, with one employee on the email chain emphasizing that the accusations touched on “a very sensitive topic....

J.D. Vance rips ABC’s Martha Raddatz as she downplays Venezuelan gang takeover in Colorado: ‘Do you hear yourself?’

By Ryan King | The New York Post Republican vice presidential hopeful JD Vance went off on ABC News correspondent Martha Raddatz Sunday after she tried to fact-check the senator from Ohio about the presence of Venezuelan migrant gangs in Aurora, Colo. Former President Donald Trump, 78, stumped in the Denver suburb Friday and vented that the Tren de Aragua (TdA) crime syndicate had “overrun” the city. “The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complexes — apartment complexes and the mayor said our dedicated police officers have acted on those concerns,” Raddatz, 71, told Vance on ABC’s “This Week.” READ THE FULL STORY AT THE NEW YORK POST

DeSantis rips Harris again for butting into Milton response: ‘No role in this process’

By Ryan King | New York Post Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis briefed President Biden on the fallout from Hurricane Milton Thursday morning while hammering Vice President Kamala Harris once again over her swipe at him for not taking her call earlier this week. The Sunshine State governor chided that Harris “doesn’t understand what it means to respond to these natural disasters,” and again accused her of politicizing the crisis. “She has no role in this process. And I’ve been dealing with these storms in Florida under both [former President Donald] Trump and [President] Biden. Neither of them ever politicized it,” DeSantis told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” hours after Milton made landfall as a Category 3 hurricane. READ THE FULL STORY AT THE NEW YORK POST...

Barron Trump was denied a bank account due to ‘cancel mob,’ mom Melania claims: ‘Civil rights violations’

By Emily Crane  | New York Post Former President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, was denied a new bank account because of a political “cancel mob,” his mother, Melania, claimed of “serious concerns about civil rights violations.” The former first lady said her son, who is now 18, was told he couldn’t open the account at her preferred financial institution in the weeks following the Trumps leaving the White House in early 2021. “I was shocked and dismayed to learn that my long-time bank decided to terminate my account and deny my son the opportunity to open a new one,” Melania wrote in her new memoir, “Melania.” READ THE FULL STORY AT THE NEW YORK POST
