That’s not some theoretical what-if. It’s a glimpse into what hospital leaders say is already unfolding in Colorado, especially for patients in rural communities who depend on access to affordable medication through the federal 340B drug discount program. The move comes after James reportedly suggested pulling funding from the school due to concerns over its public awareness campaign on high-potency cannabis. In a joint statement released on March 18 Regents Chair Callie Rennison and Vice Chair Ken Montera confirmed that the board has requested a third-party investigation to determine whether James violated regent laws or policies.
