Grassroots or guided? Inside the ‘No Kings’ protests in Colorado

By Shaina Cole | Contributing Writer, Rocky Mountain Voice A large crowd gathered at the Colorado State Capitol on Saturday before marching through downtown Denver — the third installment of a movement its organizers describe on their national website as a grassroots uprising, "spreading from small towns to city centers and across every community determined to defend democracy." Denver was one of many across the state.  Demonstrators hold signs and flags during a “No Kings” protest in Berthoud, Colorado. No Kings has promoted itself consistently as decentralized and leaderless since it launched in 2025, built on the energy of ordinary Americans acting on their own. State records, financial filings, and an internal organizing document tell a more complicated...

From Obstruction to Oppression: How the Media Rewrites ICE Enforcement

By: M.D. Kittle | Commentary, The Federalist Corporate media outlets have covered the Minneapolis ICE story like they’ve covered much of Homeland Security’s efforts to secure the homeland: dishonestly. Aliya Rahman says she feels “lucky to be alive,” that the days since federal law enforcement officials dragged her out of her car have been “traumatizing and overwhelming.”  Corporate media outlets will tell you that, too. All of them. The same story, the same narrative. The “disabled woman” was just trying to get to her doctor’s appointment, they report, pushing the left’s message that Rahman is another victim of President Donald Trump’s Immigration & Customs Enforcement agents and their roundup of poor “undocumented” immigrants. What they wo...

Details of the chat were leaked by adults into a private Facebook group page. They also spread falsehoods about the identity of the killer of Charlie Kirk, who founded TPUSA. Andrew Kolvet, spokesman for Turning Point USA and close friend to the late Charlie Kirk, said on X, "Some grown adults in...

Trans propaganda merch embraced by Democrat officials and activists calls to ‘protect trans kids’ and kill ‘fascists’

By Katie Daviscourt | The Post Millennial Calls for trans persons to arm themselves along with shirts showing weapons and emblazoned with the words "protect trans kids" have been cited. Democratic officials and leftist activists have been encouraging an apparent surge in trans violence across the nation, critics claim. One recurring element in discussions is apparel and stickers featuring the slogan "Protect Trans Kids," often paired with images of rifles, knives, or other weapons.  While some left-wing trans activists argue that such merchandise symbolizes a strong defense of transgender youth amid anti-child mutilation legislation, critics interpret them as implicit threats or calls to violence. Some of this merch also feature the lines, “Trans rights ... or else” paired with gu...

‘No Kings’ protest defies Parker officials, will proceed despite security concerns

By Maddie Rhodes | Fox31 DENVER (KDVR) — After the town of Parker tried to cancel a “No Kings” protest due to the Parker Days Festival on Saturday, the event is taking place anyway. On Saturday, June 14, a group known as “No Kings” is planning a “nationwide day of defiance” against the Trump administration on President Donald Trump’s birthday. The group said during Trump’s birthday festivities, they’re planning on showing up around the country to say “no thrones, no crowns, no kings.” Protests will be held in Colorado and all over the country, including Parker, even after the town of Parker said it had to be canceled due to a scheduling conflict. The town said the Parker Days Festival, which is hosted by the Parker Chamber of Commerce, is a permitted event that takes place...
