Amazon denies report that ‘tariff cost’ will be shown next to product prices

By Simon Kent | Breitbart The price of products Amazon Inc. displays in its online store may soon include the listed price and how much was added to the value due to President Donald Trump’s tariff impositions. Punchbowl News reported on Tuesday that, according to a source familiar with the matter, the e-commerce giant will start showing the figure added to the value because of the duties right alongside a product’s total price. Amazon makes bid to buy TikTok as deadline looms

By  Eric Revell  | Fox Business Amazon has made a bid to acquire TikTok as the popular social media app faces a looming deadline to be divested from its China-based owner or face a ban in the U.S. that could take effect this month. A Trump administration official told Reuters on Wednesday that the e-commerce giant made a bid to buy TikTok ahead of the looming ban. The New York Times previously reported, citing three people familiar with the matter, that Amazon placed a last-minute bid to acquire TikTok in its entirety. However, those sources told the outlet the parties involved in the discussions don't appear to be taking Amazon's bid seriously. Teamsters union launches historic nationwide strike against Amazon: ‘Paying the price’

By  Elizabeth Pritchett  | Fox Business Thousands of Amazon workers organized under the Teamsters union went on strike at 6 a.m. Thursday after the company's "repeated refusal to follow the law and bargain." Amazon Teamsters at seven facilities in Skokie, Illinois; New York City, Atlanta, San Francisco and Southern California are participating in the "largest strike" against the trillion-dollar company in American history, the union said in a news release. Workers at other facilities are prepared to join them. Though Teamsters says it represents about 10,000 people across ten Amazon facilities in the U.S., the company doesn't recognize workers' affiliation with the union.
