Federal vaccine rules just changed. Colorado’s school requirements didn’t.

By RMV Staff | Rocky Mountain Voice When President Donald Trump signed an executive order establishing a new federal "Gold Standard" childhood vaccine schedule this week, it marked a major shift in federal vaccine recommendations. The administration's new framework reduces the number of diseases for which vaccines are routinely recommended for all children, moves several vaccines into high-risk or shared clinical decision-making categories, and encourages greater parental involvement in vaccination decisions. But for Colorado families, the announcement raised an immediate question: If the federal government has changed its recommendations, why haven't Colorado's school vaccine requirements changed? The answer lies in Senate Bill 26-032, legislation passed earlier this year ...

Who Funds the Experts? Pharma Ties Emerge in Vaccine Schedule Debate

By Ashe Short | Just the News The groups that most Americans treat as neutral medical authorities on what to put in their kids' bloodstreams — the AMA and the AAP — both draw millions in revenue from the companies that manufacture the vaccines they are promoting. Shortly after President Donald Trump signed an executive order reducing the number of vaccines required for young children, the American Medical Association (AMA) issued a press release claiming Trump’s order puts children’s health at risk. “Vaccines are among the most thoroughly studied, effective tools we have to protect children from serious vaccine-preventable diseases,” AMA President Willie Underwood, III, said in the statement. “Decisions about how and when vaccines are used should be driven by ri...

Medical Watchdog Urges AMA and Major Groups to Reject Transgender Surgeries for Minors

By Tyler O’Neil | The Daily Signal FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—The medical watchdog group Do No Harm is calling on 10 major medical associations to explicitly condemn transgender genital surgeries on minors. “Professional medical societies that endorse so-called gender-affirming care in minors bear tremendous responsibility for the harm done to American children in the name of gender ideology,” Dr. Kurt Miceli, a psychiatrist and chief medical officer at Do No Harm, told the Daily Signal in a statement on the letters. Do No Harm sent ten largely identical open letters Wednesday morning, addressing the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Psychiatric Association, the American Medical Asso...

Henry Ford’s vaccine study backfired, and parents weren’t supposed to see it

By Jen Schumann | Rocky Mountain Voice Parents have long been told that the science on vaccines is settled. A study conducted inside Henry Ford Health in Detroit set out to reinforce that message. Its authors wrote that their goal was to “reassure parents of the overall safety of vaccination.”  The data didn’t land the way the authors expected.  Tracking over 18,000 children, the study showed higher chronic illness among the vaccinated than the unvaccinated. At the ten-year mark, 57 percent of vaccinated children had at least one chronic condition. For unvaccinated kids, it was 17 percent. Parents online are calling out what the unpublished Henry Ford data really shows. https://twitter.com/catsscareme2021/status/1965753836145909911 The numbers that couldn’t be...
