One of the victims killed in Saturday’s shooting at Brown University has been identified as Ella Cook, a Brown student and a parishioner at the Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, Alabama. On Tuesday, UNC police responded to an anonymous report of an individual unaffiliated with the campus at the Arlington Park Apartments residence. The report included a video that had been posted to social media showing the incident. During a briefing Thursday, FBI officials said the weapon, a high-powered bolt action rifle, was found in a wooded area, although the exact location was not released. Footprints were also discovered in the wooded area, which are currently being analyzed.
