By Thelma Grimes | Colorado Politics Republican candidate Nikki Haley, who has vowed to keep fighting presumptive nominee Donald Trump, is hosting a rally in Colorado next week. Colorado voters began receiving presidential primary ballots last week.   Haley, a former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, will host a rally at Wings over the Rockies Exploration of Flight at 13005 Wings Way in Centennial on Feb. 27 at 1:30 p.m. The two-hour event is free and open to the public but requires a reservation. Jerry Sonnenberg in the crowded Republican primary in the state’s 4th Congressional District, a race that includes U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert.  “Jerry Sonnenberg is the conservative conscience of the 4th Congressional District,” Gardner, a former U.S. senator from eastern Colorado who lost his reelection bid in 2020, said in a written statement. “He will be a passionate and dedicated warrior for our nation and our shared conservative values.” Gardner represented the 4th District from 2011 to 2015 before he was elected to the Senate. Meghan Lukens as she runs for re-election to represent the competitive 26th district of the Colorado House, which covers the northwest corner of the state and narrowly favors Democrats.  Nathan Butler, who is an Army veteran, was elected to the Craig City Council in November.  House District 26 encompasses Rio Blanco, Moffat and Routt counties and most of Eagle County. Its population is about 28% registered Republicans and 23% registered Democrats. Ambassador Nikki Haley's presidential campaign. Ballots have been mailed for Presidential primary, Election Day is March 5

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice Registered electors in Colorado will be asked to decide a one-issue choice for U.S. President next month by voting either a Republican or Democratic primary ballot. County clerks began mailing ballots Monday, Feb. 12, and all ballots were required to hit the mailstream by Friday, Feb. 16. Election Day is Tuesday, March 5. The Republican ballot will include former President Donald Trump and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, along with several candidates whom have withdrawn from the race. The Republican ballot also allows for a write-in of a candidate not appearing on the ballot.
