Children’s Hospital Colorado insurance data tells one story—its testimony another.

By Kelly Notarfrancesco | Contributing Writer, Rocky Mountain Voice Hundreds of children were provided puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones by Children’s Hospital Colorado’s TRUE Center for Gender Diversity annually in 2024 and 2025 — in numbers that may be more than 35 times higher than those previously reported in 2024 by medical watchdog group Do No Harm. Do No Harm (DNH) analyzed five years of insurance data and demonstrated an average of 22 minor patients per year had received either puberty blockers or hormone therapy at Children’s from 2019-2023. DNH’s analysis led it to place Children’s on its “Dirty Dozen” list of the 12 worst-offending children’s hospitals promoting sex change treatments for minors.  The stark difference between Children’s self-reported number...

Colorado Mom Urges Caution for Parents After Son’s Hormone Treatment

By Neeraja Deshpande | IW Features A Colorado mother trusted the medical “experts” when they prescribed her teenage son estrogen. Now she urges parents to reject gender ideology claims outright and reclaim authority from ideologues. But Michael had already fallen deep into the trenches of gender ideology, possibly with the help of his Denver-area school.  Thinking they would “put the brakes on this,” Burns said she and her husband took Michael to a therapist in their network at a Kaiser Permanente clinic. Unfortunately, then unbeknownst to the Burnses, Kaiser Permanente is one of the greatest offenders in the gender ideology space, having spearheaded medical experimentation on gender-confused minors both as an insurer and as a clinical provider of ca...

Medical Group Recommends Delaying Transgender Surgeries Until Age 19

By Molly Parks | Washington Examiner The American Society of Plastic Surgeons released a statement recommending doctors refuse gender-related surgeries for transgender patients under the age of 19, a move the Trump administration is calling a win. “ASPS concludes there is insufficient evidence demonstrating a favorable risk-benefit ratio for the pathway of gender-related endocrine and surgical interventions in children and adolescents. ASPS recommends that surgeons delay gender-related breast/chest, genital, and facial surgery until a patient is at least 19 years old,” the ASPS recommendation reads. The Department of Health and Human Services and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. praised the group for its recomme...

Supreme Court case claims Colorado’s conversion therapy ban erases gay identity, silences counselors

By Mia Cathell | Washington Examiner A controversial Supreme Court case challenging a ban on so-called conversion therapy, as it pertains to treating transgender children, is attracting unlikely allies. At issue in Chiles v. Salazar, soon to be argued before the Supreme Court, is whether a Colorado law prohibiting “conversion therapy” for pediatric patients unconstitutionally restricts a counselor’s free speech rights, via viewpoint discrimination, when that therapist wants to counsel children experiencing gender dysphoria toward embracing their biological sex. A number of traditionally progressive third parties are siding with the plaintiff, Kaley Chiles, a licensed Christian counselor who nudges clients to “live consistently with God’s design.”...
