Broomfield Church Defaced With Swastika as City Leaders Denounce Hate

By Jesse Sarles | CBS Colorado Someone spray painted a large swastika on a church's sign in the Denver metro area over the weekend. That's according to elected officials in the City and County of Broomfield, who say the incident is under investigation.   Police believe it happened sometime Sunday morning at Beautiful Savior Church near Main Street and West 120th Avenue. The city's mayor and members of the city county jointly posted a statement on the city's website that said volunteers cleaned up the swastika along with other symbols that were painted on the sign. In a twisted handwritten journal he shared on YouTube before the massacre — much of which is encrypted in a homespun code of Russian Cyrillic script and English words — Westman groaned about his long hair and his decision to transition. “I only keep [the long hair] because it is pretty much my last shred of being trans. Boulder Jewish Community Leader Killed in Firebomb Attack

By David Zalubowski - AP | The Denver Gazette A woman injured in the Boulder Pearl Street Mall attack earlier this month has died, leading the Boulder District Attorney's Office to file murder charges against an Egyptian national accused of carrying out the attack.  Officials said Karen Diamond, 82, died as a result of the severe injuries she suffered after a suspect threw Molotov cocktails at a group of protesters pressing for the release of the remaining Israeli hostages held by Hamas. The number of people injured during the June 1 attack, initially set at 15, has grown to 29, according to the district attorney's office. Federal judge issues order blocking deportation of Boulder firebomb terrorist’s family

(AP) — A federal judge issued an order Wednesday to prevent the deportation of the wife and five children of an Egyptian man charged in the firebombing attack in Boulder, Colorado. U.S. District Judge Gordon P. Gallagher granted a request from the family of Mohamed Sabry Soliman to halt deportation proceedings of his wife and five children who were taken into federal custody Tuesday by U.S. immigration officials. The family members have not been charged in the attack on a group demonstrating for the release of Israeli hostages in Gaza.
