Bob Marshall (D-HD43) represents one of Colorado’s most politically mixed suburban districts, covering parts of Highlands Ranch and Littleton. The area is built around families, good schools, and a long-standing belief in local control and fiscal restraint. Marshall often calls himself a centrist Democrat and a retired Marine who puts people before politics. Hundreds lose jobs after global pharmaceutical company closes two Colorado facilities

By Heather Willard | FOX31 Denver DENVER (KDVR) — A global contract development and manufacturing organization with headquarters in Seattle has announced the closure of its Boulder and Longmont locations, resulting in hundreds of laid-off workers in Colorado. AGC Biologics filed a WARN Notice with the state of Colorado on Sept. 16 about the closure of its Boulder and Longmont facilities, as well as the impact on employees who support those facilities from afar. On its website, the company says that it provides pharmaceutical development and manufacturing services for protein-based biologics, cell and gene therapies and messenger RNA. The City of Littleton tried to stuff a Polis-inspired density mandate down the throats of their residents late last year. Residents did exactly what they should have: they went to the city council meeting in numbers and told them their thoughts on the measure. On Thursday morning, Liam's family, friends, classmates, teachers and even people he never met rode their bikes or walked from the middle school to Bemis Library. A sea of people wearing red moved through the community, as red was Liam's favorite color. Littleton parents confront school board after bus aide caught on camera hitting boy with autism

By Claire Lavezzorio | Denver 7 LITTLETON, Colo. — More than a dozen parents confronted the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education Thursday night, pushing for change after a school bus paraprofessional was caught on camera hitting a boy with autism. There were tears shed and one father even called on LPS Superintendent Todd Lambert to resign. Parent Blake McBride told the board he was contacted by law enforcement who told him his child was a victim of the alleged abuse by Kiarra Jones. According to an arrest warrant for Jones filed on April 4, she is facing a charge of crimes against an at-risk adult or juvenile (third-degree assault) and crimes against an at-risk adult or juvenile causing injury.
