A couple weeks back, I noticed an article about a talk at the governor's mansion about wolf reintroduction involving the First Gentleman and his guests for the evening. He wanted to meet to "craft legislation" related to wolves, and the adviser replied they would not meet without him. This week, lawmakers pressed Colorado Parks and Wildlife's leaders about how the governor's office has affected their decisions. Reis, who is Colorado Democratic Gov. Jared Polis’ husband, had posted online about grants the state was offering for nonlethal wolf deterrents when he got into a heated exchange in the comments with David Gittleson, according to 9 News.
