Meta’s AI rules let bots flirt with kids and push false health tips

By Jeff Horwitz | Reuters An internal Meta policy document, seen by Reuters, reveals the social-media giant’s rules for chatbots, which have permitted provocative behavior on topics including sex, race and celebrities. Trump is back: Presidential hopeful reinstated by Meta on Facebook, Instagram

A Meta spokesperson confirmed to Fox News that the Big Tech giant will lift the bans placed on Trump's Meta accounts that have been in place since Jan. 2021. Meta said the restrictions on Trump's social media will be lifted in "the coming weeks." The change of heart came after Meta reassessed their "responsibility to allow political expression." Feds investigating Meta for possible role in illegal drug sales on Facebook, Instagram

By Dana Kennedy | New York Post The feds are poking Facebook for possible drug dealing. US prosecutors in Virginia are investigating Meta Platforms, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, for playing a role in facilitating illegal drug sales online, the Wall Street Journal reported Saturday. They’ve issued subpoenas and begun questioning whether Meta’s social media platforms are enabling and profiting from illicit drug sales, sources told the Journal. Prosecutors have also asked for records related to “violative drug content on Meta’s platforms and/or the illicit sale of drugs via Meta’s platforms,” according to copies of subpoenas delivered last year that were seen by the Journal.
