Four GOP Lawmakers Join Democrats as House Passes Iran War Powers Resolution

By Randy DeSoto | The Western Journal Four House Republicans sided with Democrats in a vote to halt military operations in the Middle East without further congressional approval. The vote for the resolution was 215 in favor and 208 against. The vote was described on the House website as “Directing the President, pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran.” Not surprisingly, Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky was one of the four Republicans to join with Democrats, along with Reps. Tom Barrett of Michigan, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, and Warren Davidson of Ohio. https://twitter.com/EricLDaugh/status/2062284377992675802?s=20 READ THE FULL ART...

Vance Challenges Air Force Academy Class of 2026 to Defend America’s Future

By: Eric Young | Colorado Politics As artificial intelligence and space defense become more prevalent in warfare, Vice President JD Vance told the 2026 Air Force Academy graduating class to uphold their standards while embracing innovation on a cloudy Thursday morning. Marking the academy’s 68th graduating class and the United States of America’s 250th anniversary, Vance told this year’s 931 graduating cadets to apply the skills and character they developed over the last four years as they enter “an entirely new era of warfare.” He recalled the Air Force’s history in American conflicts in European airspaces, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan, along with the “extraordinary skill and professionalism” of its servicemen and servicewomen and its ability to adap...

DHS Targets Lawyers Accused Of Filing False Asylum Claims

By: Breccan F. Thies | The Federalist ‘It is standard practice for immigration attorneys representing illegal aliens to assert that virtually every illegal alien is going to be persecuted or tortured in his or her home country.’ The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is starting to dismantle the legal industrial complex pushing for mass migration by cracking down on immigration lawyers who file fraudulent asylum claims. DHS directed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Tuesday to develop policies to go after the attorneys who aid and abet illegals obtaining legal entry and status in the United States fraudulently, under a law already establishing penalties for document fraud. DHS said that ICE attorneys will have “greater authority to enforce the...

Tulsi Gabbard Announces Departure From DNI Role Effective June 30

By: Shawn Fleetwood | The Federalist In a major loss for the country, Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard announced Friday her plans to resign from her post at the end of June. The former congresswoman cited her husband’s recent diagnosis of an “extremely rare form of bone cancer” as the reason for her departure. “Abraham has been my rock throughout our eleven years of marriage — standing steadfast through my deployment to East Africa on a Joint Special Operations mission, multiple political campaigns, and now my service in this role. His strength and love have sustained me through every challenge,” Gabbard wrote in a letter addressed to President Trump. “I cannot in good conscience ask him to face this fight alone while I continue in this demanding and time-consumi...

Colorado Springs Braces For Space Force Growth And Infrastructure Demands

By Mary Shinn | The Gazette As the Space Force prepares to double in size over the next five years, Peterson Space Force Base will need additional space and people to support the growth. The intense period of expansion is expected even as Space Command headquarters relocates to Huntsville, Ala., because it is a small piece of all the space operations in town. Peterson Space Force Base and Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station employ about 8,200 active-duty troops, civilians and contractors and have a combined payroll of $837 million, according to a Tuesday presentation by Col. Kenneth Klock, commander of the Space Base Delta 1. The combined economic impact of the two bases is about $2.6 billion, per the report. The entire Space Force employs about 10,000 people in specialized r...

Rural Colorado Communities Back Iran Strategy Even As Gas Prices Climb

By Reuters | Pike's Peak Courier WIGGINS, Colo. • Perched behind the cash register at Stubs liquor store, Amy Van Duyn gazed out the window at a red-and-green gasoline price sign, which she said seemed to tick up daily. The price was $4.34 per gallon — about 50% higher than it was in these parts when President Donald Trump returned to the White House last year. “I used to fill my tank for $36,” said Van Duyn, 42. “Now $36 gets me half a tank.” Her co-worker Tonyah Bruyette said when it’s time to buy groceries, she’s left wondering where all her money went: “We’re putting it in the tank rather than on our table.” Like most people in and around Wiggins, a farming town of 1,400 people in northeast Colorado, Van Duyn and Bruyette remain ardent supporters of t...

GOP Lawmakers Push To Bar Illegal Immigrants From US Banking System

By Pedro Rodriguez | The Daily Signal FIRST ON THE DAILY SIGNAL—Citing concerns that access to financial services incentivizes illegal immigration and could aid terrorism, Rep. Keith Self, R‑Texas, introduced legislation Thursday that would bar illegal aliens from the U.S. banking system by requiring banks to collect customers’ citizenship or immigration status. “Access to America’s financial system is reserved for those who respect our laws—not for illegal aliens who break them,” Self told The Daily Signal. “Those who enter illegally should not be rewarded with taxpayer‑backed banking services. This legislation draws a hard line: If you are here illegally, you will not have access to our financial system.” The bill would prohibit covered financial insti...

Trump Task Force Uncovers Nationwide Web Of Welfare And Immigration Fraud

By Steven Richards | Just the News The cost to taxpayers identified by Vice President JD Vance's task for targeting government benefit programs is mounting, and no plausible explanations are forthcoming. The Trump administration’s work to pare back waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government has reportedly exposed a vast network of taxpayer-fleecing scams, abuses of immigration, and of the citizenship process across all corners of the United States.  The story involves resettled refugees soaking up federal paychecks to run home healthcare and childcare businesses, transnational criminal organizations exploiting food benefit programs, and scammers using fake student profiles to make off with millions in federal student loans. It also involves non-monetary f...

Investigative Report Raises Questions About Soros Influence In Biden Administration

By DataRepublican | Commentary, DataRepublican Substack On January 30, 2017 — ten days into the Trump presidency — Rosa Brooks published an article in Foreign Policy titled “3 Ways to Get Rid of President Trump Before 2020.” She outlined four scenarios for removing the new president from office: impeachment, the 25th Amendment, cabinet revolt, and a military coup. Of the last option, Brooks wrote that it was “a possibility that until recently I would have said was unthinkable in the United States of America.” Brooks was a former Counselor to the Under Secretary of Defense for Policy at the Pentagon, where she reported to Michele Flournoy from 2009 to 2011. Before that, she served as Special Counsel to the President at the Open Soci...
