(KDVR) – Newly released court documents revealed more details about the moments that led to the shooting of a protester outside the Aurora ICE Processing Center, including what the suspect told investigators after the gunfire. According to the arrest affidavit, Brandon Booth admitted he intentionally pulled the trigger during the July 16 shooting but told police he was trying to scare two protesters and never intended to hit anyone. CENTENNIAL, Colo. — Four people were detained and cited Monday after a tense standoff with law enforcement outside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office in Centennial, as protests continued for a fourth day following a shooting at a nearby ICE detention facility. The agitators were outside the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Maple Grove, Minnesota, on Monday night where they had thought Bovino was staying. Arrests were made after authorities said the demonstration was "no longer considered peaceful," and declared it an unlawful assembly.
