Pressure Mounts on Senate GOP to Fight for the SAVE America Act

By Virginia Grace McKinnon | The Daily Signal Ahead of an expected vote on the SAVE America Act in the House, nearly 100 conservative leaders are urging the Senate to pass the election integrity measure using the talking filibuster. The SAVE America Act, an updated version of the SAVE Act, would secure America’s elections by requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote and requiring voter identification. The bill, introduced by Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, in the House and Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, in the Senate, is expected to pass the House this week. Conservatives are now calling on Senate Republicans to do everything in their power to pass this legislation. https://twitter.com/RepChipRoy/status/2017274977259798917?s=20 RE...

House GOP Forces Vote on Citizenship Checks and Photo ID for Voters

By John Solomon | Just the News House Majority Leader Steve Scalise said floor vote will force Democrats to declare where they stand on two election integrity items widely supported by Americans. The U.S. House of Representatives will vote next week on a new bill that would require all states to check both citizenship and photo identification before allowing voters to cast ballots, combining two widely popular election integrity provisions and ramping up pressure on a Senate that has been unwilling to consider either mandate. House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La., and Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, confirmed in an interview Wednesday evening with Just the News that the vote will be held next week for the Save America Act, which combines the two requirements t...

Lawmakers Investigate Claims Wealthy Foreigners Bypassed Americans for Organ Transplants

By Greg Wehner | Fox News More than 100,000 Americans remain on transplant waiting lists while wealthy foreigners are allegedly allowed to skip the line. House lawmakers are launching a congressional investigation into two major hospital systems amid allegations they allowed wealthy foreign patients to bypass U.S. organ transplant waiting lists, as more than 100,000 Americans remain on those lists and thousands die each year waiting for life-saving organs. Reps. Jason Smith, R-Mo., and David Schweikert, R-Ariz., who lead the House Ways and Means Committee’s oversight effort, sent letters Tuesday to the University of Chicago Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center in New York demanding records by Feb. 10 and warning they will issue subpoenas i...

Yes, we are having a Republican State Assembly

By Brita Horn | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice Over the past several days, a new and unfounded rumor has begun circulating, suggesting that the Republican Party of Colorado does not intend to hold a State Assembly in 2026. This claim is false. It contradicts our legal obligations, it misrepresents our planning, and it has no basis in any action ever taken by this organization. As Chair of the Republican Party of Colorado, I want our members to hear directly from me: we are holding a State Assembly. We always have been. It is also important to recognize that within our party, there are strong and varied opinions about Colorado’s caucus and assembly system.  Some view it as a vital grassroots mechanism that ensures candidates earn support directly from engag...

Trump Team Celebrates End of Schumer Shutdown With Viral Tweet

By Matt Vespa | Townhall The longest government shutdown is over, and Trump won. He won. And credit to the Republicans. If compromising on protections for federal workers was the price to stop $1.5 trillion from going to illegal alien health care benefits and funding NPR, that’s not the worst outcome. Still, Democrats got nothing. They basically signed onto the exact same deal Republicans pitched in October.  The president signed the bill, which passed the House 222-209 after sailing through the Senate once eight Democrats opted to end this circus and joined Republicans in reopening the government. At the signing, Trump reminded the nation of the damage Democrats did to the country with this shambolic ploy. https://twitter.com/EricLDaugh/status/1988809228732035381?s=20 h...
