The CDC reports that 1 in 5 children in the U.S. suffer from obesity which prompted President Obama to pass the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010. This law aimed to promote healthier diets with mandated minimum servings of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains while limiting sugar, fat, and sodium.
