By Lindsey Grewe | KKTV CBS 11 News A middle schooler is facing more than a dozen charges after Grand Junction police say he brought a gun to school and threatened classmates. Officers were called to Bookcliff Middle School Friday morning on reports of a student with a weapon who had been making threatening statements to other kids. The school was put on a shelter-in-place order while police investigated. “Officers quickly located the handgun and took the student into custody,” the police department said. Madison, Wisc., school shooting suspect identified as 15-year-old girl

By Stephen Sorace  | Fox News A 15-year-old girl killed a teacher and teen student in a shooting on Monday at a private Christian school in Madison, Wisconsin, and wounded six others, according to authorities. Natalie Rupnow was identified as the shooter who opened fire inside a study hall inside Abundant Life Christian School, Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said. Responding officers found Rupnow with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. She died on the way to a hospital. Police were speaking with Rupnow’s father and other family members, who were cooperating, and searching Rupnow’s home, Barnes said. Police say they responded to reports of an active shooter at the Abundant Life Christian School at roughly 10:57 am local time. They identified a "juvenile" deceased at the scene who they believe was responsible for the shooting. They are encouraging local residents to avoid the area. Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes said at least two people in addition to the shooter were killed, and six others have been transferred to a nearby hospital with injuries. Colin Gray's hearing took place right after his 14-year-old son Colt learned that, as a minor, he won't face the death penalty for killing four people at Apalachee High School in Winder, outside Atlanta, on Wednesday. The teen appeared in person in shackles, dressed in a green t-shirt and grey sweat pants.
