Four GOP Lawmakers Join Democrats as House Passes Iran War Powers Resolution

By Randy DeSoto | The Western Journal Four House Republicans sided with Democrats in a vote to halt military operations in the Middle East without further congressional approval. The vote for the resolution was 215 in favor and 208 against. The vote was described on the House website as “Directing the President, pursuant to section 5(c) of the War Powers Resolution, to remove United States Armed Forces from hostilities with Iran.” Not surprisingly, Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky was one of the four Republicans to join with Democrats, along with Reps. Tom Barrett of Michigan, Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, and Warren Davidson of Ohio. https://twitter.com/EricLDaugh/status/2062284377992675802?s=20 READ THE FULL ART...

Trump Flexes Political Muscle As Massie Falls In Kentucky Primary

By Bradley Jaye | Breitbart President Donald Trump spared little expense and political capital in targeting Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) in the contentious marquee race of an Election Day in which voters from multiple states will decide which candidates will represent them in November or advance to a runoff. The Republican brouhaha for Kentucky’s Fourth Congressional District is perhaps the most high-profile primary of the 2026 cycle, with the Texas GOP Senate primary the only other contender. Trump went all-in for Ed Gallrein in the race against Massie, visiting the district himself in recent weeks and dispatching Secretary of War Pete Hegseth – in a private capacity – to the state to campaign with Gallrein Monday. The President is riding high in recent weeks after sec...

Bipartisan Pressure Forces DOJ To Unredact Names In Epstein Files

By Bryan Chai | The Western Journal In today’s polarized and divisive political climate, it’s not too often you see a Republican and Democrat fiercely aligning on any issue. Outside of the rare issue or two, the opposing sides of the American political duopoly seldom find common ground. However, when it comes to the fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, it appears they have little issue working hand-in-hand. California Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna and Kentucky GOP Rep. Thomas Massie are two such strange bedfellows — and they’ve got the Epstein files directly in their sights. One of the top issues the two men have with the slow-roll revelations of those Epstein files is that of potential co-conspirators being “improperly” redacted in the documents. ...

Republicans Should Just Say No To Josh Hawley’s Crusade Against Data Centers

By Booker Lightman | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice The Data center boom is creating a political conundrum for Republicans, or so Politico would have you believe. For while President Trump and the large majority of Republican elected officials are in favor of data centers, Josh Hawley, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Thomas Massie stand in opposition to the Trump administration.  These are the same names that are always being praised by the media for their “bravery” in “standing up” to Trump. It’s not hard to see why.  Most Congresspeople get little attention outside their districts, but if a Republican Congressman speaks out against Trump, suddenly he or she is the darling of a mainstream media apparatus that would love nothing more than to set the Right...

Rep. ‘Nostra’Thomas Massie predicted Speaker Johnson would bring Christmas spending bill, now first to say he’ll ‘vote for someone else’

By Adam Pack | Daily Caller Republican Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie told reporters Wednesday that he will not be supporting Speaker of the House Mike Johnson’s bid for another term as speaker. “I’ll vote for somebody else,” Massie told Politico on Wednesday. “I’ve got a few in mind. I’m not going to say yet.” The Kentucky Republican is a fierce critic of Johnson and has torched the speaker’s decision to partner with House Democrats on a massive spending bill right before the Christmas recess despite previously committing in September to not bringing a ‘Christmas omnibus’ to the floor. Rep. Thomas Massie, the 2024 keynote to RMGO, notes irony of President Biden pardon

By BRIAN PORTER | Rocky Mountain Voice In the wake of President Joe Biden pardoning his son, Hunter, for a variety of criminal offenses, including the unlawful purchase of a firearm, one 2nd Amendment advocate familiar to gun-owning Coloradans noted the irony. U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Kentucky, who was the keynote speaker this year at the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners' annual banquet, called upon Biden to expand the pardon in an effort for equal application of the law. "Since Joe Biden thinks a particular gun law shouldn’t be enforced for his son Hunter Biden, he should pardon everyone who’s been prosecuted under that same provision," Massey wrote on Twitter/X. https://twitter.com/RepThomasMassie/status/1863693757469659314 In addition to his role this year with RMGO, Massie ...
