Children’s Hospital Restores Gender Care Services but Doctors Decline to Provide Treatment

By Jennifer Brown | The Colorado Sun Children’s Hospital Colorado was forced to resume gender-affirming care through a court order, but the doctors who work there won’t do it. Children’s Hospital Colorado said Monday that it was resuming gender-affirming care for transgender youth after it was forced to do so by a court order, but that none of its doctors are willing to actually provide the care.  The announcement means the hospital is complying with the court order and yet, transgender kids and teens will not get care from the doctors who work at Children’s TRUE Center for Gender Diversity, a clinic that provides prescriptions for hormone therapy and puberty blockers. Thursday’s announcement marks the beginning of the process of convening meetings with Health and Human Services officials to flesh out the language and formalize the rule. CMS sits under HHS. National Review first reported last month that the admi...

Stanford Halts Pediatric Gender Surgeries Amid Legal, Parental Pushback

By Katherine Hamilton | Breitbart Stanford Medicine has halted performing sex change surgeries on patients under 19 years old, becoming the second major health care provider in California to do so, as the Trump administration fights to protect youth from gender ideology. The shift occurred before the Supreme Court last week upheld Tennessee’s ban on sex changes for minors, and after the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles announced its decision to close its “trans youth program” in July, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on June 24. Stanford told the publication in a statement: After careful review of the latest actions and directives from the federal government and following consultations with clinical leadership, including our multidisciplinary LGBTQ+ program and its providers...
