Joondeph: Why Do Democrats Hate Women and Girls?

By Dr. Brian C. Joondeph | Commentary, American Thinker Democrats and their corporate media allies have co-opted the popular narrative on various social issues, including sexism. Republicans provide little, if any, pushback for fear of what the low-rated Sunday talk shows or the Washington Post might say about them. The social issue du jour is transgenderism. Democrats are the party of transgenderism, which represents only a small fraction of the population. However, if you watched prime-time comedy or drama television shows, you might believe that half of America is gender-confused.  Ironically, the Democrat party platform claims to support women. “We are committed to ensuring full equality for women. We will combat biases across economic, political, and social life tha...

Women’s fencer opens up on refusing to face transgender opponent, accepting punishment and backlash

By  Jackson Thompson | Fox Sports Women's fencer Stephanie Turner took her mask off and got a knee in front of her transgender opponent. Ahead of a bout at the Cherry Blossom Open in Maryland over the weekend, Turner, 31, made the decision not to compete against trans athlete Redmond Sullivan. And Turner also wanted to make sure her refusal was caught on video for the world to see.  Turner came to the decision the night before the event when she checked the competition pools and saw that she would be competing against Sullivan, whom she had read about in an article last year.  READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX SPORTS

Cole: Colorado’s gender bills sideline parents and rush kids into harm

By Shaina Cole | Guest Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice On Friday, March 28, Colorado legislators introduced House Bill 25-1309 and House Bill 25-1312, proposals crafted to safeguard transgender youth. Their aims are well-meaning: one mandates insurance coverage for gender-affirming treatments such as hormone therapy and surgeries, while the other anchors gender identity within custody law to protect vulnerable children.  Yet, beneath these noble intentions lies a troubling prospect—lasting harm to the very youth they seek to shield, coupled with an alarming shift of authority from parents to the state. Consider HB 25-1309, which compels insurance providers to fund gender-affirming care when deemed medically necessary. The goal is clear: ensure access for transgender youth. H...

House Speaker bans men from women’s bathrooms on Capitol Hill

By Libby Emmons | The Post Millennial House Speaker Mike Johnson has issued a new edict saying that only women shall have permission to access women's bathrooms on Capitol Hill. The move from Johnson comes after South Carolina Rep Nancy Mace proposed a new rule that would deliver the same result Johnson has provided."All single-sex facilities in the Capitol and House Office Buildings—such as restrooms, changing rooms, and locker rooms—are reserved for individuals of that biological sex," Johnson wrote. "It is important to note that each Member office has its own private restroom, and unisex restrooms are available throughout the Capitol." "Women deserve women's only spaces," Johnson said. Rep. Nancy Mace says she’s getting threats over Sarah McBride trans bathroom bill

By Emily Crane | New York Post South Carolina Republican Rep. Nancy Mace says she has been getting death threats over her push to ban incoming transgender Democratic Rep.-elect Sarah McBride and others from using female restrooms inside the Capitol. The backlash came after Mace unveiled a new bathroom bill resolution earlier week that seeks to prevent trans women from using the female restrooms on Capitol Hill — arguing she wasn’t going to stand for “someone with a penis in the women’s locker room.” “They are threatening to kill me over this. Men that want to use women’s restrooms are threatening to kill me over this issue,” Mace told NewsNation’s “On Balance” late Tuesday. READ THE FULL STORY AT THE NEW YORK POST

Mitchell: Why do Democrats flip-flop on men in women’s sports, ‘transgender’ procedures?

By Elizabeth Troutman Mitchell | Commentary, Daily Signal Democrats are scrambling to downplay their radical positions on men playing as “transgender” women in women’s sports and so-called transgender medical procedures for children ahead of an election where polls show most voters hold commonsense views on these issues. Left-wing candidates must walk a fine line between maintaining the flow of hundreds of thousands of dollars they get from pro-transgender groups like the Human Rights Campaign and winning the support of the majority of voters who believe men are men and women are women. Nearly three-quarters (72%) of registered voters think biological males should not be allowed to participate in women’s and girls sports, according to national pollin...

Growth of Obama-era foster care policy unmasks transgender orthodoxy’s inherent threat to parental rights

By Tyler O'Neil  | Daily Signal A groundbreaking new report from The Daily Caller exposes the backstory behind the Biden-Harris administration’s regulation on foster care rules for children who identify as LGBTQ, and underscores the inherent threat that transgender orthodoxy poses to the parental rights of moms and dads who reject the idea that children can be “born in the wrong body.” In April, the Administration for Children and Families at the Department of Health and Human Services released a final rule for agencies to fully implement on or before Oct. 1, 2026. The HHS agency’s first released a version of the rule in September 2023, and updated it in response to public comment. Katelynn Richardson and Megan Brock, writing for The Daily Caller, reporte...

Supreme Court docket includes ghost guns, a capital case and transgender rights

By Lindsay Whitehurst | CBS 11 News via the AP The Supreme Court is taking the bench again on Monday, ready to hear cases on ghost guns, a death sentence and transgender rights. The docket doesn’t have quite as many blockbuster cases on its docket as it did last term, when its rulings included an opinion granting broad immunity to former president Donald Trump. Still, it’s possible that the conservative-majority court could yet be asked to intervene in election disputes after the ballots are cast in November. READ THE FULL STORY AT CBS 11 NEWS
