Kremlin warns ‘inevitable escalation’ over Biden allegedly authorizing Ukraine long-range missile strikes

By Oliver JJ Lane | Breitbart The United States allowing its long-range tactical missiles to strike targets deep inside Russia for the first time would “inevitably lead to a serious escalation”, Kremlin figures warn after Washington D.C. appears to brief one of President Biden’s final acts in office will be to permit such attacks. Russia warned of dire consequences if Ukraine used long-range U.S.-made ATACMS missiles to strike strategic targets deep inside the Federation, but also confidence it would be able to foil the attacks in the first place. The responses came after claims were published in the beltway-interest newspapers favoured for leaks by the U.S. intelligence community at the weekend that U.S. President Joe Biden would permit Ukraine to use the American Army Tactical Miss...

Ukraine accuses Russia of deliberately destroying this year’s grain harvest

By Chris McCullough | The Fence Post Dozens of Ukrainian arable farmers have accused Russia of deliberately bombing their crops in the fields setting them alight and destroying this year’s harvest. According to the Ukrainian Agri Council (UAC), it has received dozens of reports from Ukrainian farmers about the deliberate destruction of fields by the Russian invaders. Davidson: Whatever U.S. elites are defending in Ukraine, it isn’t democracy

By JOHN DANIEL DAVIDSON | The Federalist It’s getting harder and harder to pretend the war in Ukraine, now in its third year, is about “defending democracy,” as our political elites in Washington insist. This is especially true when Secretary of State Antony Blinken shows up in Ukraine to deliver billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to fund the war, proclaims that Ukraine’s scheduled presidential elections this spring are canceled until “conditions allow” (Ukraine has not held elections since 2019), and then jaunts off to a popular Kyiv nightclub to play a boomerish cover of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World.” That actually happened this week.  READ THE FULL COMMENTARY AT THE FEDERALIST

Sloan: Speaker Mike Johnson has chance to lead on Ukraine

Kelly Sloan | Special Contributor, The Rocky Mountain Voice House Speaker Mike Johnson is experiencing a defining moment in his career. As Congress resumes, he seems to have successfully – one hopes – hammered out a workable deal to finally get arms flowing to the Ukrainians as their defense starts to falter. Effective support for Ukraine’s defence is the central foreign policy question facing Western leaders today. There are, of course, no shortage of serious foreign policy dilemmas – one could toss a dart at a world map and chances are pretty good that wherever it lands there is some kind of trouble brewing – but it is difficult to understate the importance of Ukraine. The Israelis are tough and will likely prevail with or without American support (though how much better for our ow...

Zelenskyy extends Trump an offer to visit Ukraine’s front lines: ‘If Mr. Trump will come I am ready’

By Haley Chi-Sing | Fox News Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy extended an offer to Former President Trump to visit Ukraine and even take him to the front lines, during his appearance Saturday at the Munich Security Conference.  "If Mr. Trump will come, I am ready even to go with him to the front line," Zelenskkyy said on Saturday, followed by applause from the audience.  "I think if we are in dialogue how to finish the war, we have to demonstrate people who are decision-makers, what does it mean — the real war. Not on Instagram — the real war," he continued.  Zelenskyy noted that he had extended this same offer to Trump before, but that the visit ultimately depended on Trump.  READ THE FULL STORY AT FOX NEWS
