From insider to critic: Ex-White House official questions public health orthodoxy

By Katy Talento | AllBetter Substack I kept Robert F. Kennedy Jr. out of the West Wing. Now I owe him an apology. It was 2017. We had hauled the CEOs of a bunch of pharmaceutical companies into the Oval Office so that President Trump could berate them about their drug prices. (Always a good time.) Somehow, the word “vaccine” came up in the conversation. When that happens in the president’s presence, then, now, last month, and probably next week, like clockwork, he always starts telling the same story. A woman who worked for him at the Trump Organization back in the day. Her two-year-old son, who was “perfect, beautiful, magnificent, flawless.” Then he got a shot and he was “just gone. Gone. Never the same. Beautiful boy. Then, just gone.” The CEOs all shrank back and tu...

Colorado Democrats Act to Preserve Existing Vaccine Framework Amid Federal Changes

By: Marianne Goodland | Colorado Politics At least 20 states have said they are using guidance from the American Academy of Pediatrics and other medical associations when setting vaccine policies and immunization schedules, in some cases supplementing or diverging from recommendations issued by the Trump administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention under Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Colorado is already among the 20, but Democratic lawmakers this week also approved a bill that will require the state Board of Health to consider recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics and other groups, as well as from a federal advisory committee that was recently changed to include vaccine skeptics. Senate Bill 3...

Online Platform Reverses Course After Removing Infant Mortality Vaccine Paper

By Greg Piper | Just the News Preprints.org, operated by open-access publisher MDPI, cited its "withdrawal policy" as a whole, but no specific reason, for removing the paper by Children's Health Defense researchers. They found worse risks by race and sex. Twelve years after a senior scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention admitted through his lawyers to withholding a "statistically significant finding" on black babies from his peer-reviewed study finding no link between autism and vaccination, a preprint server that hosts research before peer review erased a study that also found a racial vaccination link. Preprints.org, operated by the Swiss open-access publisher MDPI, took down the study, "Increased Mortality Associated with 2-Month Old Inf...

Colorado Rejects New CDC Vaccine Schedule, Maintains Existing Requirements for School and Daycare

By Claire Carter | The Washington Examiner Colorado became the latest state to criticize the newly released federal guidance for childhood vaccines on Tuesday. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment released a statement rejecting the CDC’s new vaccine schedule and said Colorado’s approach “remains grounded in long-standing science, expert consensus, and transparency.”  On Monday, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention implemented a major change in the childhood immunization schedule, reducing the number of vaccines children receive from 17 to 11. HHS Overhauls Vaccine Recommendations While CDC COVID Messaging Remains

By Greg Piper | Just the News Scientific assessment for reducing recommended vaccine doses by two-thirds blasted "false CDC claims that vaccine-acquired immunity was superior to infection-acquired immunity," but CDC is still discouraging natural immunity. Seven weeks before the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reduced the number of vaccines recommended for all children to 11 from 17, citing a new scientific assessment of immunization practices in "peer, developed countries" commissioned by President Trump, the agency updated its page on "Staying Up to Date with COVID-19 Vaccines." The Trump administration did not remove or revise its predecessor's stunningly broad claim: "Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is a safer, more reliabl...

White House Links Tylenol in Pregnancy to Autism, Pushes New Treatment Path

By Amanda Prestigiacomo | Daily Wire Trump said Tylenol use during pregnancy is linked to increased risk of autism. On Monday, President Donald Trump and Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced findings into the concerning spike in national autism rates, labeling one medication as a potential cause of autism, and another as a potential treatment. It was announced that the use of acetaminophen during pregnancy is tied to an increased risk of autism. Acetaminophen is the active ingredient in Tylenol, one of the most widely used medications globally for pain relief and fever reduction. “Taking Tylenol is not good. I’ll say it. It’s not good,” Trump said, noting that it might be necessary if a pregnant woman spikes a very high fever. “There’s ...

Henry Ford’s vaccine study backfired, and parents weren’t supposed to see it

By Jen Schumann | Rocky Mountain Voice Parents have long been told that the science on vaccines is settled. A study conducted inside Henry Ford Health in Detroit set out to reinforce that message. Its authors wrote that their goal was to “reassure parents of the overall safety of vaccination.”  The data didn’t land the way the authors expected.  Tracking over 18,000 children, the study showed higher chronic illness among the vaccinated than the unvaccinated. At the ten-year mark, 57 percent of vaccinated children had at least one chronic condition. For unvaccinated kids, it was 17 percent. Parents online are calling out what the unpublished Henry Ford data really shows. https://twitter.com/catsscareme2021/status/1965753836145909911 The numbers that couldn’t be...

From ACIP to AAP: CDPHE proposes school vaccine rule shift amid 95% MMR goal

By Jen Schumann | Rocky Mountain Voice Colorado is proposing a new playbook for school vaccines. The Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) plans to drop reliance on the federal Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) — a CDC panel — and instead follow the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), which has rolled out its own schedule and supports only medical exemptions. The shift coincides with CDPHE’s campaign to lift MMR rates from 88 to 95 percent, the herd immunity target, amid national upheaval and rising parental concern. Colorado’s health department is pushing new changes to school vaccine rules, and parents have less than two weeks to weigh in. CDPHE will appear before the State Board of Health on Oct. 15 to request a rulemaking hearing. Public comments...

CDC defies RFK Jr and Trump in key vaccine maneuver

By  SADIE WHITELOCKS | Daily Mail The CDC appeared to defy President Donald Trump's will by taking part in a vaccine meeting with the World Health Organization this week.  Under executive orders, the CDC was banned from communicating from WHO as the US started its withdrawal from the global health agency.   Trump cited the UN agency's failings during Covid close ties to China as reasons for pulling the US out of the WHO.
