Brandon Gill swiftly announced plans to file articles of impeachment in an effort to remove him. Gill made the announcement on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday, noting he would be filing the motion this week. In a subsequent tweet from Elon Musk, the entrepreneur turned Trump advisor responded simply, "Necessary."
