Texas Children’s Hospital Settlement Signals Shift in Youth Gender Care Debate

By Joshua Arnold | The Daily Signal THE WASHINGTON STAND—The U.S. Department of Justice on Friday announced a settlement with Texas Children’s Hospital (TCH) in which the hospital not only committed to never again carry out gender transition procedures on minors, but also agreed to open the nation’s first detransitioner clinic and fully fund it for five years. TCH gained notoriety in 2023 when a whistleblower provided evidence that the hospital continued to secretly administer gender transition hormones to minors, even after the Texas legislature had made it illegal. “Today’s resolution protects vulnerable children, holds providers accountable, and ensures those harmed receive the care they need,” said Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche....

Rocky Mountain Voice: Boots on the Ground, Uncovering Colorado’s Hidden Truths

By Heidi Ganahl | Commentary, Rocky Mountain Voice Rocky Mountain Voice has spent the last two years covering stories that don’t fit neatly into a news cycle. We’ve reported on fraud, government overreach, and policy failures by doing the unglamorous work — pulling records, talking to whistleblowers, and sticking with stories long after other outlets lost interest. Our commitment isn’t just to report. It’s to make sure Coloradans have access to information that challenges the official narrative. Looking back, it’s hard to ignore how much of this would have stayed buried if no one had been willing to stick with it. Take Tina Peters, then Mesa County Clerk, who found herself in the crosshairs after preserving election records. Much of the media responded by framing her a...

According to DHS insiders, Walz not only ignored early warnings but actively retaliated against agency employees who sounded the alarm. They now accuse his administration of using political intimidation, monitoring, threats, and agency manipulation to suppress evidence and silence witnesses. As The Gateway Pundit reported, 70 members of the Somali community in Minnesota were i...

Tracking the untracked: The dangerous fallout of Biden’s broken migrant child system

By Shaina Cole | Contributing Writer, Rocky Mountain Voice Each year, children continue to arrive at the southern border without anyone to look after them. They’re officially called unaccompanied alien children—or UACs—but behind that label are thousands of kids trying to navigate an immigration system meant for adults.  Many are handed off to sponsors with little vetting, and some end up trafficked, working illegal jobs, or worse. The surge in vulnerable children Back in the early 2000s, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) was handling fewer than 8,000 unaccompanied kids a year. But that’s changed dramatically.  By 2022, that figure had climbed to over 128,000. The following year saw more than 113,000 children placed with sponsors across the U.S. As of Jul...
