Davidson: The perfect storm conspires in France and Europe

A perfect storm led to Europe’s riots. The same trend could happen here. Fortunately, President Trump has managed to stop the influx of illegals. We have those disaffected young males with which to contend, but at least the influx has stopped.

Open border policies led to massive illegal immigration in Europe. The immigrants did not assimilate but remained separate from the culture of the nations they invaded. Look at the videos of the mob. They are all military-age males of foreign descent. That isn’t racist. It’s a fact. There is a difference. This is the kindling that starts the fire. Something else ignites the kindling:

At the same time, a highly repressive regulatory system destroyed private enterprise and, with it, jobs. Masses of young male immigrants could not find work. This is a powder keg.

The European tendency toward a two-class system, royals and everyone else, put European citizens squarely on the road to central control through regulations and powerful central governments. This led to over-regulation and excess taxation and created a toxic environment for private businesses, which could not expand or provide gainful employment.

Where citizens of Europe grew up in a two-class system and therefore accepted strong governments, America was founded on a different mentality. That was independence. It was an attitude that I am a sovereign being and I can decide for myself. I don’t need a federal, state, or municipal bureaucrat deciding for me. This is the spirit that infused the American citizen to stand tall, seek the good, and live according to his own ethical code.

This is where America has the edge. Our citizens decide to exercise their inalienable rights: Put our government back under control of the Constitution. Fire any politician who espouses more taxes or more regulations. That is your democratic right. The meaning of republic is rule by the citizen. That means in order to achieve self-governance, as is our right, we must exercise self-governance.

Reduce government spending and regulation. Every dollar the government spends is first taken from the working citizen through taxes and fines. So how does another government program help anyone when it is first taken from you to give to someone else? Government spending is a lie; it is wealth redistribution from those who work for their living to those who take from those who work. What wall of lies and deceit allows this obvious theft of our earnings to pay to re-elect the people who steal from us in the first place? This is insanity.

Consider how ineffective and wasteful that is. Far better that money earned stays with the one who earned it rather than with some bureaucrat. This allows private businesses to expand and provide a decent living for employees. It’s difficult for working people to take time off to riot and burn.
