Harris campaign blew through $1 billion in 107 days

By MIG Reports Key Takeaways: Americans are disgusted at the Harris campaign’s spending, tying it to beliefs that Democrats are fiscally irresponsible. Reports of the campaign ending with $20 million in debt, after fundraising $1 billion, lead voters to draw parallels with government overspending with no tangible results. Some contrast Trump’s promises to cut government spending with Harris’s runaway spending, expressing relief that Trump is the president-elect. Recent reports allege the Harris campaign spent the $1 billion dollars it fundraised, and after only 107 days, ended the campaign with a $20 million debt. This news elicits sharply negative voter reactions. Reactions point to widespread perceptions of fiscal irresponsibility and elite detachment from American co...

AG Weiser’s challenge to Kroger-Albertsons merger awaiting Judge Luxen’s gavel

By Jen Schumann | Contributor, Rocky Mountain Voice The $24.6 billion merger between Kroger and Albertsons is currently in legal limbo in Colorado. Following a lawsuit initiated by Attorney General Phil Weiser in February 2024, the state's grocery market's future hangs on Judge Luxen's upcoming decision.  Prior to trial, Weiser asserted, "In all events, the Kroger/Albertsons merger is bad for consumers, workers, farmers and communities." Kroger defended it as a way to lower prices, protect jobs and preserve competition. Attorney General Phil Weiser says the merger would "eliminate" competition between the two grocery giants." It would consolidate an already concentrated market. His lawsuit claims this would result in higher prices and reduced consumer choice. Kroger, however...

Court shoots down Biden admin’s mass amnesty order for hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants

By Jason Hopkins | Daily Caller The Biden-Harris administration suffered a major defeat in federal court on Thursday amid its fight to provide amnesty for up to half a million illegal migrants living in the United States. President Joe Biden’s executive order that attempted to provide a pathway to citizenship for hundreds of thousands of illegal migrants married to American citizens is unlawful, a federal judge in the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Texas ruled on Thursday. Biden’s order, which was first announced over the summer, was challenged by the Texas attorney general and a slate of other GOP-led states. “Since day one, the Biden-Harris Administration has dedicated itself to the decimation of our immigration system and the erasure of our borders,” stated Gene...

Eric Adams ends free debit card program for illegal immigrants in NYC shelters

By The Post Millennial In the wake of Donald Trump's decisive presidential win, New York Mayor Eric Adams has announced that he plans to stop giving illegal immigrants free food vouchers. The program was in place for asylum seekers paroled into the US by the Biden-Harris administration. The move from Adams ends the pilot program that saw the city handing out debit cards to illegal immigrants staying in city shelters. The program had been in place for a year and enabled illegal immigrants to buy food.  ABC 7, the New York affiliate, indicated that bringing the program to an end once the contract period comes to a close was anti-humanitarian. "The so-called Immediate Response Cards pilot program was designed to feed migrant families who found themselves in New York with n...

The targeted violence came after the local Ajax soccer team defeated Israel’s visiting Maccabi Tel Aviv. READ THE FULL STORY AT BREITBART

What a Republican majority in the U.S. Senate means for Americans

By Jen Schumann | Contributor, Rocky Mountain Voice Republicans held their first U.S. Senate majority from 1869-1871, after the Civil War. When the 119th Congress meets on Jan. 3, 2025, the seventh Republican Senate majority in history will get to work. With this Senate majority, President Trump will likely have the legislative support to enact his GOP platform without significant roadblocks. As Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kent., steps down, choosing his successor for the new majority is key. It will shape the Senate's direction. After being sworn in on Jan. 3, the next leader will be chosen. McConnell held a hearing this week to discuss election outcomes. He stressed that, by regaining the Senate, Republicans could "set the guardrails" on legislation. "One of the...
